Some Challenges You’ll Tackle
Grubhub is looking for a Strategy & Analytics Intern to join the Marketing team from mid September to mid December. You’ll be an integral part of the Marketing Strategy & Analytics Team, working closely with various members of the Marketing team.
Promotions are a big part of our business. This role will be based on evaluating the success of hyperlocal campaigns in order to come up with a local strategy plan. The person in this role will build dashboards and/or analyses to support questions such as 1. What is the optimal promotional offer by market? 2. Which markets are most responsive to certain types of promotions? This person will also have the opportunity to work on creating A/B tests to help evaluate hypotheses, as well as examine the performance of ongoing campaigns by determining incrementality.
You Should Have
- Basic knowledge of SQL/Tableau prefered
- Basic Google Doc and Sheets skillset
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong communication & interpersonal skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams
- Interest in Analytics and willingness to learn and report on live and completed promotions
- Ability to execute accurate work in a timely manner
- Keen business acumen and ability to apply context to sanity-check numbers
