Marketing Partnerships Intern: Authentic relationships with brands and influencers of all shapes and sizes have helped build the RXBAR brand. We consistently engage with our partners; social media influencers, registered dietitians, celebrities and professional athletes. We partner with relevant and innovative brands on unique sampling and cross-promotional opportunities. The Marketing Partnerships Intern will gain exposure to many facets of marketing with the end goal of promoting and raising awareness of the company and all its products, building cache and credibility to the brand.

The ideal candidate is well-organized, has a strong work ethic and can manage multiple projects at once, as well as a strong intellectual curiosity and passion for building brands through communications and relationship building. This is a short-term internship with potential to progress into a full-time position. This position reports to the Marketing Partnerships Manager.

**Must be able to work 15-20 hours per week from January 2019 to May 2019**

General Functions + Responsibilities: 

• Support our social media influencer strategy and execution across multiple channels and verticals including dietitians, foodie, travel, and adventure
• Research and identify key influencers within designated verticals
• Vet incoming influencer inquires received via support desk to identify potential partnership opportunities
• Assist with creating and packing materials for various needs (hand-written notes with product, gift bags, collateral, custom shipments, etc.) and handle shipment of materials
• Assist with campaign recap reports to extract key learnings
• Monitor other brand’s influencer initiatives and share key learnings
• Help identify like-minded brands to partner with organically to drive awareness and trial of RXBAR
• Support brainstorming of creative ways to partner with brands, online and offline
• Monitor RXBAR social media platforms and assist in customer engagement as needed
• Staff local events as necessary
• Assist with ad hoc marketing projects
• Provide general office support

Skills and Qualifications:

• Positive attitude, a thirst for knowledge, and an excitement for growing our business
• Previous experience in Public Relations, Communications or Social Media
• Currently earning (to be completed by June 2019) or a completed Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Nutrition Sciences or related field
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment, effectively manage workload to meet deadlines, while ensuring a high standard of quality
