ActiveCampaign’s Education Team delivers multimedia content in various channels to reach customers where they prefer to learn. You will work with training specialists, content producers and our instructional designer to plan and execute on video, animated gif content and other interactive material in order to create engaging content for customers.

What your day could look like:

  • Assist with planning, producing and editing snackable videos for customer-facing educational programs.
  • Review shooting script and raw material with customer education team to create a shot decision list based on scenes’ value and contribution to learning objectives.
  • Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film inputting music, graphics, and effects as necessary to help engage our audience.
  • Create rough and final cuts.
  • Organize and upload video content to YouTube and other hosting platforms.

What is needed:

  • Experience shooting high quality video and audio
  • Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolioSolid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Camtasia).
  • Excellent storytelling skills
  • Strong written and verbal and visual communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize projects and assignments to meet deadlines
  • Thrives in an environment that requires both independent and collaborative work
  • Working towards a BS degree in film studies, cinematography or related field preferred
  • Experience creating short videos for a YouTube channel a plus
