 The Opportunity:

The Social Impact team is focused on delivering products, services and resources to customers that improve financial outcomes and put customers on a better financial path. The Social Impact Intern will have the opportunity to have tangible impact on strategic initiatives that directly benefit our consumers.

 Key Job Responsibilities:

At OppLoans, interns aren't simply doing rudimentary tasks or chores. They're given opportunities that require high levels of critical thinking, collaboration, and leadership. Every summer, interns have been responsible for creating systems, tools, or practices that have substantially impacted our bottom line. You'll work closely with the Social Impact team to set ambitious goals and measure performance along the way. The hallmark of your summer will be a strategic initiative that you will own from start to finish. This workstream will be decided upon based on your interests and skills as well as discussions with your manager, but an example of a past intern project was researching and designing ways to score social impact in the company with quantitative and qualitative methods.

 Requirements:

We're seeking passionate, innovative problem solvers with a desire to have a real impact. Candidates must graduate in 2022 with a Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably with coursework or extracurricular experience related to social impact and/or financial inclusion. Please note, there is a possibility this internship may be remote.
