Neighborhoods.com is searching for two hard-working, organized, and detail-oriented individuals to contribute to our team. The Neighborhoods.com Photo Interns will be responsible for a variety of photo and publication projects across both the Neighborhoods.com and 55places websites and blogs.
What You May be Doing:
- Selecting, editing, uploading, and organizing photos to accompany blog posts.
- Sourcing and ordering new photos from internal and external collections.
- Auditing and organizing existing photos for quality and appropriate citation.
- Working with our design and marketing teams to influence the creative direction of our blog.
- Taking on new projects as needed.
Essential Qualifications:
- Has experience with the photo editing process (color, exposure, composition, resizing, etc.)
- A self-starter who looks for opportunities to contribute.
- Ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects at a time
- Eager to learn, detail-oriented, and organized
- An eye for composition and editorial layout
- Experience with Photoshop, (the rest of Adobe Suite is a plus)
- Graphic Design and/or Photography experience is a plus (submit portfolio if applicable).
OtherDetails:
- Must be available to work 20-25 hours per week, M-F (Flexible)
- If applicable, we'll work with you to ensure you receive course credit and schedule around your classes.
- Pay is $13/hr. Internship will last 3 months.
