Product Photography Intern (Spring Semester)
Position Overview:
Catch Co. is looking for a Chicago-based photography intern to work closely with our cross-functional teams to help expand our white background and lifestyle portfolio. Specific projects for the internship will be determined based upon company needs and the intern’s background/interests. Details of Internship
- Paid internship opportunity
- 10-12 weeks with a possibility to extend
- 15-20 hours/week
- Applicants must be located in Chicago
What you will do:
- Work closely with our In-House Multimedia Associate and Ecommerce team to ensure all products are standardized.
- Collaborate with our In-House Multimedia Associate to problem solve on best editing techniques for difficult product aspects, such as feathers, chrome, etc.
- Upload photo assets via Dropbox
- Communicate regularly via Slack, email, or Google Hangouts.
- Regularly edit products on to a pure white background (#FFFFFF)
- Create swatches for all product containing multiple colors
- Opportunity to expand on Photoshop knowledge and industry experience!
What experience you need:
- 2 years of experience using Adobe Photoshop
- Knowledge of Adobe Lightroom
- Experience working with RAW file formats
- Strong communication skills
- Nice to have, but not required: understanding of Premiere Pro, After Effects, and/or Final Cut
- College students are welcome to apply!
