Job Description
Zoro is offering one paid internship in our software Quality Assurance (QA) team for the 2019-2020 academic year.
This is an opportunity that will enable you to work as an intern while you finish your studies. The start/end dates and working times can be flexible based upon your school schedule.
The individual chosen will learn about supporting IT development through the process of software testing. The Zoro Quality Assurance team is charged with releasing quality software, quickly. As a QA Engineer Intern you will have an opportunity to work side-by-side with software and quality assurance engineers where you will learn application development, software testing and test automation skills.

Responsibilities
- Specifying, designing, implementing and testing automation framework
- Executing automated tests on multiple environments using multiple browsers.
- Expanding automation framework to provide additional test capabilities.
- Designing, coding and documenting automated test cases within a defined framework to ensure the quality of our product.
- Translating existing manual regression test cases into automated tests.
- Analyzing existing systems to find areas for improvement.
- Conducting diagnostic analysis and troubleshooting to resolve complex software issues.
- Evolving automated test framework to achieve higher test throughout, with increased accessibility and test execution flexibility.
Qualifications
Preferably, our QA Engineer Intern will be in his or her final year of a computer science or information technology program at an accredited college or university. We realize that many students do not have deep exposure to the information technology industry, but our ideal intern will show interest and aptitude – not necessarily mastery of specific concepts.
Exposure to the following technologies and concepts are desirable:
- Software Development
- Software Testing
- Software Testing Automation tools
- Programming in Object Oriented language such as C#, JavaScript, Java, Python
