We are looking for a passionate Sales Development Representative Intern to partner closely with the Sales Development team. The SDR Intern role at TripActions will provide a unique chance to begin a career in technology sales in a fast paced environment. This internship will be a 12 week opportunity to grow and hone your skills in generating new revenue leads and driving the overall growth at TripActions. 

As a Sales Development Intern at TripActions, you’ll contribute to growing the future of travel and you will develop sales and travel industry knowledge through mentorship and our sales training program. The ideal candidate is a curious, self starter who is relentless in their dedication to their team and achieving their personal goals.

By the end of the internship, you will have the opportunity to showcase your work to the broader company. 

This position is based out of Chicago, IL

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Undergo formal training around TripActions products, selling skills, leadership skills, and business acumen
  • Assist the SDRs and their Account Executives by strategically growing TripActions customer lists
  • Partner with the Sales Development team to help generate meetings and sales pipeline
  • Create and prioritize target account and contact lists
  • Work closely with Sales and Marketing on projects that help drive revenue growth

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong passion for sales 
  • Proven track record of hitting or exceeding goals
  • You are curious: always looking for an opportunity to learn, grow and give/receive feedback
  • A self-starter: when you see a need, you address it
  • Collaborator: you enjoy working with others and helping whenever possible
  • Knowledge of Salesforce CRM; preferred
  • Be a self-starter and have demonstrated leadership experience
  • Long term interest in sales
  • Previous internship experience in sales, consulting or a related field, or at a technology company; preferred
  • Bachelor's degree; Graduation Date: 2021
