Department OverviewThe Worldwide Sales Operations organization leads the strategy, development, and delivery of sales tools & processes that enable an efficient, effective selling organization. This group is responsible for every day sales tools our sellers, customers and partners use to drive Sales Growth, including: CRM solutions (Salesforce.com) and Configure-Price-Quote (CPQ). It is our mission to help deliver the best set of tools, data & processes that will enable our Worldwide Sales organization to drive continuous sales growth.
Job Description
The Salesforce Automation Intern is responsible for assisting in deploying and supporting sales tools within Salesforce that enable our sellers to “sell more” and “sell faster.” This role is part of a team focused on delivering new sales tools, enhancements, and processes in the areas of Customer Data Management, Customer and Partner Relationship Management, Sales Forecasting, Sales Quoting, and general Sales Enablement.
The Salesforce Automation Intern will be responsible but not limited to the following:
Assist in identifying, developing, and implementing process improvements, tools, or other changes to improve accuracy and operational efficiency
Partner with cross-functional teams to develop & enable new functionality, business processes for new and existing user groups to gain accuracy and efficiency
Stay current on changes/upgrades to the Salesforce platform
Gather business requirements and develop new business processes as part of design activities
Determine use cases and develop test scenarios. Write test scripts and participate in user acceptance testing.
Develop strategies to drive adoption, improve efficiencies and increase benefits to the Sales team
Assist in communication plans for tool or new capability launches, including change management, training, communication, and support
Work in partnership with IT teams on support activities
Specific Knowledge/Skills:
Must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree with a graduation date on or after September 2022
Understanding and experience with Change Management is preferred
Self-motivated and able to operate in a fast-paced project-driven environment
Ability to foster collaborative and effective working relationships
Keen attention to detail and problem-solving abilities from an operational and technical perspective
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written are required
Experience working with ERP systems, Oracle CPQ & other Business Operations IT applications is a plus
Basic Requirements
- Must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree with a graduation date on or after December 2022
