How You Can Make an Impact

Geneva Trading USA is seeking a Software Development Intern for our Core Data team in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate is a student enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science or a related field of study. Experience working with C++, Python, C, Hadoop, and KDB are preferred. A  passion for the trading industry is required. 

The hours will be flexible based on the student’s schedule, but ideally 25+ hours between the hours of 7:00 AM-5:00 PM, Monday thru Friday.

This internship is paid hourly and will start with a 12-week commitment, but will have the potential to be continued, as well as a high possibility of becoming a full-time opportunity upon graduation with superior performance.

What You'll Need

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program with a Computer Science, Engineering, or another STEM-related field of study 
Experience with C++, Python, or Linux a plus
Analytical mindset with a desire to work with big data
Heavy attention to detail (fastidious), but the ability to see the bigger picture as well
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are a must
