What you can expect for our upcoming 2021 summer Internship Program

  • 10-week paid internship in the trendy River North Neighborhood in downtown Chicago – GoHealth has corporate bikes for you to explore the city
  • Working with business units assisting with internal projects
  • Weekly team meetings, project updates, working sessions, research, analysis
  • Rotational days to shadow other areas of the business
  • Lunch with founders
  • Final presentation to end the summer
  • Summer social outing with the 2021 Intern class
  • Casual dress code

Basic Qualifications

  • Must be a Junior currently enrolled at a University
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems
  • Operates as a team player
  • High energy and intellectual curiosity
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Practical experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
  • These positions are not eligible for sponsorship/OPT

Senior Digital Marketing Manager Adarsh Patel collaborates with colleagues to stitch together big-picture success through a high-altitude lens on marketing strategy. Pivotal to his current success was Patel’s first GoHealth role, which was tactical and execution oriented, which allowed him to gain an inside-out knowledge of the company and its customers. And through it all, Patel knows who he can turn to for support. “We are a strong believer that success is driven by empowerment,” Patel said. “My managers or leadership have always been available to coach and guide me on any initiatives.”

Sales Strategy Manager Amanda Mordacq wants her team to be fulfilled through work that encourages development — and, with what Mordacq called “a ton of exciting enhancements to our technology” on the horizon, the chance to do so sound ample. To Mordacq, it’s important to know colleagues at a deeper level, pointing to daily team check-ins, “coffee walks” and events as ways her team strengthens its ties. “This contributes to a high level of comfort and confidence in one another and provides space for team members to be honest about their work and life goals, concerns and roadblocks,” she said.

This mission to improve access to healthcare is what drew Indugula to the company, and it’s what her team strives toward accomplishing each day, whether that involves data analysis or automation. She said her team’s current projects will enable the company to optimize plan recommendations and personalize the shopping and enrollment experience.

One of my favorite things about GoHealth is the people I interact with on a day-to-day basis. Every conversation I have is so thoughtful and invigorating, and it really helps me stay motivated.
