 Primary Responsibilities
  • Own the management and improvement of company-wide Knowledge Management platform
  • Manage Information Security for AArete - HIPAA, HITRUST security framework
  • Participate in a wide variety of projects from training end-users on a new process, to selecting a new system to solve a business problem, etc.
  • Analyze, present, and implement IT solutions and / or new systems for AArete
  • Jointly work to define software, hardware and network requirements
  • Identify potential vendors; test, install and monitor new systems as required
  • Liaise between the AArete team and the technical escalation team to ensure resolution and closure of tickets, while acting as a point of contact within the company for IT related issues
  • Prepare documentation and present progress reports internally to leadership
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues
  • Maintain complete and accurate system and environment documentation at all times
  • Travelling to vendor sites as required

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years relevant work experience
  • Past experience with managing IT projects
  • Prior experience working in a consulting environment is a plus
  • Experience with new system selection, end to end implementation & training
  • Ability to build, customize & maintain internal knowledge base and intranet
  • Experience using GlassCubes strongly preferred, SharePoint or similar systems also
  • Solid understanding of HIPAA and HITECH security frameworks and completion of security assessments and security remediation
  • Security and project management certifications a plus
  • Demonstrate ability to solve technical problems for team members
  • Demonstrate above average communication skills while presenting various IT initiatives across levels in the organization
  • Ability to synthesize system, security, and policy documentation in a timely manner
  • Build relationships with internal team members across the organization, vendors and / or clients
  • Ability to troubleshoot computing issues and escalate the required issues quickly and efficiently

Technical skills / Other qualifications

  • Glasscubes, or similar knowledge management/collaboration platform management experience
  • Familiarity with industry standard security and compliance frameworks (HITRUST, ISO, NIST, PCI-DSS, HIPAA)
  • Prior experience participating in or conducting portions of Information Security Assessments or Audits
  • Technical certifications such as MCP, MCSE, MCSA, PMP are preferred
  • Security certifications such as Security+, SSCP, CISM, CEH are beneficial
  • Experience administering security using Active Directory or other access control systems
  • Desktop support, troubleshooting end-user hardware & software, escalating issues as needed
  • Windows 7/10, MS Office 2013, Office 365, Terminal Server, network connectivity, FTP
  • Able to answer a wide variety of general computing "how-to" questions quickly and accurately
