  • Quarterly nationwide travel
  • Applicants located in North Carolina will have the opportunity to meet with the team in person 1 to 3 days per week.
  • Typical schedule for this position is 9 a.m. ET to 5 p.m. ET.


HOW YOU WILL SOAR:
The Financial Analyst will report to the Finance Manager in the Finance Department. This role is responsible for performing various activities related to monthly and ad hoc financial reporting and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and projections. Specific responsibilities may include performing monthly financial variance and trending analyses, compiling board and ad hoc financial presentations, evaluating return on investment opportunities for special projects or initiatives, modeling the potential financial impacts of contemplated or proposed business decisions, and assisting in the budgeting and forecasting processes. The job requires a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Analyzing current and past financial data and performance
  • Identifying trends in financial performance and determining relevant takeaways
  • Distilling large data sets and information into useful outputs
  • Preparing reports and presentations based on findings
  • Effectively communicating findings to other members of the finance team
  • Assisting with ad hoc financial modeling related to budgeting, forecasting, projections, M&A, and other special projects
  • Other duties as assigned


IF YOU HAVE SOME OR ALL OF THE FOLLOWING, APPLY:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 0-2 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Proactive and analytical; ability to problem-solve and draw conclusions from data
  • Highest standards of accuracy and precision
  • Creative thinking, highly-driven, and self-motivated
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • An aptitude for prioritization, multi-tasking and efficiency
  • Strong organizational skills with a drive to meet deadlines and drive projects to conclusion
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and WordPosses an optimistic attitude and intellectual curiosity with a drive to learn and promulgate new concepts quickly in a culture of continuous improvement
