Job Description
EZlynx is seeking a highly qualified Strategic Business Initiatives Lead to join our team.
In this role you will take the lead in collaborating with senior leadership to define the businesses strategic objectives, identifying potential business opportunities, and ownership of preparing content for strategic meetings.
As the Strategic Business Initiatives Lead you will have direct influence through evaluating the effectiveness of business strategies, recommending improvements, and proactively identifying key business trends and potential risks.
The successful candidate will act as a lead, coordinating with business units or departments involved in strategic initiatives. We are invested in continuous improvement and innovation, and we are seeking someone who can foster a culture that embodies these principles.
What You'll Do
- Responsible for assisting EZLynx President in running the operating cadence, including building reports and presentations for monthly/quarterly operating reviews, townhalls, and compiling supporting analysis for business leaders as needed
- Collaborate with senior leadership to codify the business' strategic objectives and identify milestones and key metrics to evaluate progress towards those objectives
- Partner with EZLynx President to identify and evaluate strategic initiatives to accelerate growth of EZLynx business. Examples include evaluating EZLynx's pricing strategy, identifying opportunities to improve customer retention, or segmenting customers to help accelerate sales
- Partner with EZLynx President and EZLynx product development team to evaluate long-term product innovation opportunities by sizing marketing and gauging customer feedback
- Assist in defining strategy for EZLynx's enterprise customers, as well as preparing content for executive-level meeting
- Ensure that all business initiatives are in compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Performs other duties as assigned by immediate manager or management team.
What You'll Need to Succeed
We're looking for someone who:
- Prior experience in consulting or investment banking preferred
- Exceptional leadership, project management, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Additionally you may have:
- Education: A diploma or degree in business
- Experience: 1-3 years directly related experience preferably in consulting or investment banking
- Technical / Functional Skills: Microsoft Office Suite
- Travel: The ideal candidate will be located in Chicago or Dallas and be prepared to travel to Dallas or Chicago ~4-5 days per month, as well as one-off trips to customers
