  • Strong business and legal judgment and risk-based assessment skills
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple contracts at any given time and shift gears depending on priorities or the needs of the business

Within 1 month, you will…

  • Learn about the processes and procedures to take customer contracts to closing.
  • Begin to review existing form documents and gain familiarity with the ecosystem of our contracts.

 Within 3 months, you will...

  • Support the Legal team in reviewing non-disclosure agreements and requests for proposal submissions.
  • Assist Corporate Counsel in the continuing development and maintenance of the sales contract playbook.
  • Field requests from the Sales team with respect to updates on order forms and agreements.

Within 6 months, you will…

  • Review customer contracts and run your own negotiations with customers.
  • Complete renewals with our Success and Growth team for existing customers.
  • Assist in compliance efforts related to applicable domestic and international regulations.
  • Work through updating trainings and materials for the Sales team pertinent to the legal review process.
  • Make updates to existing agreement templates and terms.
  • Help the Legal team identify areas for streamlining and improvement

 Within 12 months, you will...

  • Be seen as an integral part of the sales process during legal review of customer contracts and an effective resource for day-to-day legal issues.

Of course what is outlined above is the ideal timeline, but things may shift based on business needs and other projects and tasks could be added at the discretion of your manager.

What's something quirky about your company?

At the conclusion of our company wide Kickoff party, tubs of McDonalds cheeseburgers mysteriously appear and rain down on us like a blizzard in the Chicago winter. But a good blizzard.
