What You’ll Do
The Legal Assistant and Contracts Administrator provides administrative support for a wide variety of functions within the Legal Department and supports the transactional team by developing and managing the contracts review process, evaluating company contracts, and administering the contracts program within the company.. The administrative support includes preparation of correspondence, memoranda and emails. In addition, filing documents electronically and in hard copy in the Department’s Team Drive and providing administrative support for special projects is also required.
A successful candidate will demonstrate a strong attention to detail along with the ability to discover potential risks for the company. Additionally, a successful candidate will need to ensure all deadlines within the company’s contract are met.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each primary duty satisfactorily.
Prepare correspondence and memoranda including drafting documents and proofing materials for the Legal department.
Assist in the maintenance of the department's records management program and be the primary manager for all records related to contracts and authorizations made in accordance with company policies.
Assist in the maintenance of the contract administration program including managing the contracts review process, preparing contracts and proofing documents, and proactively maintaining the department agreement tracker and company executed contracts. This includes managing the expiration dates within contracts and other terms of company agreements including the company’s valuable material agreements related to its technology and regulatory obligations.
Prepare contract briefs and revision summarizing contractual requirements and budgets and prepare and disseminate information to employees regarding contract status.
Process Legal department invoices and assist with Legal department budget.
Provide back-up assistance for other administrative staff including for examination management and Board of Directors support.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Technical Skills:
Experience with Microsoft Office systems, Adobe, Oracle, and ServiceNow.
Education and/or Experience:
5 or more years of experience supporting senior executives.
Experience working within a legal department preferred.
