Duties include:
- Act as a contracts manager to prepare/review and negotiate contracts, including Professional Services Agreements, Subcontractor Agreements, software licenses, hosting and maintenance, requests for proposals (RFPs), vendor agreements, NDAs, Business Associate Agreements and Release Forms
- Communicate the status of agreements to necessary stakeholders and verify their understanding and acceptance of the legal and business terms of the agreements
- Assist Senior Contract Administrator with maintaining and tracking all contracts for the firm, including but not limited to contract renewals, terminations, and database and file management
- Provide legal training and updates to all new hires and existing firm employees
- Develop and execute processes to increase efficiency and scalability for the internal legal department
- Assist with preparation for Risk and Privacy Committee and other internal meetings on behalf of Legal
- Work with IT to manage and maintain Onit to ensure ease of use, as well as manage reporting metrics for the Legal team
Requirements:
- Paralegal certification a plus.
- 3+ years in-house experience administering complex commercial contracts; experience with professional services and IT contracting highly desirable
- Skilled at preparation and review of contracts and other legal documents
- Excellent customer services skills and ability to explain legal concepts to non-legal individuals
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision. Function on an independent basis and be a team player. Prioritize multiple tasks at hand.
- Experience with government contracts desirable
- Recent experience in supporting sales operations highly desirable
- Sound, practical business judgment, and a problem-solving, client focused, results oriented approach
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, and to listen actively
- Comfortable working with senior management as well as consulting and technical staff
- Demonstrated negotiation skills
- Excellent document reviewing and proofreading skills
- Strong skills at business writing, including spelling and grammar
- Effective in a challenging and constantly changing environment
- Strong organizational skills and priority setting
- Process-oriented; superior attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent team worker with good interpersonal skills
- Skilled in MS Office Products - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and knowledge of SharePoint
