Rewards Network is seeking a motivated and talented individual to join its Chicago-based Legal and Administrative team as a Legal and Administrative Associate. The Legal and Administrative Associate will have the opportunity to work on legal matters of multiple varieties under the direction of in-house attorneys, focusing on revising standard agreements such as restaurant sales agreements (Marketing Services Agreements, Receivables Purchase Agreements), reviewing marketing materials, coordinating insurance renewals and corporate filings, and providing information in response to litigation and dispute matters where Rewards Network is represented by outside counsel.

The Legal and Administrative Associate is also responsible for providing backup office services and executive administrative support in partnership with the CEO’s executive assistant, to accomplish responsive and coordinated internal support. Examples of office and administrative support responsibilities include scheduling Senior Leadership Team members’ calendars in a fast-paced environment, being available to greet visitors, and receiving deliveries of office supplies and meals.

This position will interact frequently with sales, sales operations, marketing, accounting, and the CEO’s executive assistant.

The ideal candidate will be pro-active, highly analytical, and a driven self-starter with superior problem-solving and communications skills.

 

Requirements:

 

· Bachelors’ degree

· 2 years in a corporate office environment in a setting comparable to a legal department or professional services firm

· Experience with corporate contracts, preparing contracts, NDA's required

· Experience with litigation pleadings, workflow of documentation and litigation flow required

· Experience with project management of time sensitive initiatives

· An interest in the law

· Problem-solving skills and a logical mind

· The desire and ability to work independently, and the judgment to know when to ask for help

· A willingness to take on additional duties as assigned

· Familiarity with financial terms and basic business concepts
