OneSpan is looking for Regulatory and Research Specialist Temp who will be responsible for drafting OneSpan Global Financial Regulations Report 2021.  The report will provide concise regulatory implications applicable to OneSpan’s financial institution customers globally: North America, Latin America, Europe. Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific. The Regulatory and Research Specialist will leverage OneSpan’s existing inventory of regulations, laws and pending legislation and with guidance of the hiring manager, will also utilize subscription-based and no-cost internet research to identity and catalogue new and pending regulations.

Overview: 

• Help prepare an in-depth annual, global regulatory report highlighting recently enacted laws and regulations to provide valuable assistance to our customers to prepare and elevate our brand.
• Will serve as the primary researcher and initial drafter of the report.
• Work closely with the hiring manager and potentially members of the product marketing team.
• Utilize our subscription-based online regulatory tracking service and other online sources to identify proposed or recently enacted laws and regulations affecting OneSpan and our financial institution customers
• Review researched regulations and laws with hiring manager to identity those that should be included in the report.
• Draft content for report and incorporate feedback from hiring manager and others.
• Provide hiring manager with a self-asserted progress report and current draft of report.
• Support the global sales team with smaller projects requiring research and analysis of recent regulations and their impact on OneSpan and our customers.
• Work on ad-hoc research to assist hiring manager with requests from the Senior Leadership Team and the Global Sales team
• Catalogue research findings for internal use

Minimum Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with 2+ years of directly related experience (Writing & Research). Journalism background, preferred, but not required.
• Resourceful with ability to effectively work independently.
• Superior research skills.
• Strong report writing skills.
• Proficient at conveying information in a clear, focused and concise manner.

Preferred Requirements:

• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with both internal and external customers in an effort to facilitate effective communication of business needs.
• Aptitude to analyze and interpret related regulations and compliance standards.
• Global research is a plus.
• Extremely organized, detail-oriented and process-driven.
