As a Transaction Adviser on Litera's Transaction Management team, you will be expected to apply your project management and communication skills while displaying a positive, high-energy attitude. You will be a part of a broader team, working to create a new market that transforms legal service delivery through solutions that streamline the transaction process. You will serve as a trusted advisor and process consultant for our law firm customers and their transaction teams as they leverage the Litera Transaction Management platform to manage, track and close corporate legal transactions. Litera's Transaction Advisers require the strategic sensibilities of a business consultant, the empathetic approach of a customer support specialist and the attention to detail of an attorney.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with attorneys and legal services teams towards optimal utilization of Litera's Transaction Management platform on all phases of a corporate transaction, including due diligence, document negotiation, signings, and transaction closings
  • Provide ongoing and responsive, project-level, expert support to customer teams as they leverage Litera's Transaction Management platform
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with customer stakeholders in order to create champions and advocates
  • Align closely with Transaction Management Growth Consultants to articulate the value of Litera's Transaction Management platform to customer teams on an ongoing basis
  • Provide customer feedback internally to Litera's Product team to influence the product road map
  • Design, facilitate and execute seamless and highly-tailored user training experiences to achieve maximum levels of user satisfaction
  • Travel is required

Required Skills/ Experience

  • Excellent presenter and communicator who is articulate, passionate and knowledgeable with the ability to learn and execute upon customers' project objectives quickly and accurately
  • Strong initiative, drive and self-direction
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize and order tasks effectively
  • Proficiency at juggling multiple tasks under time-pressure
  • Experience engaging effectively with legal professionals at the partner and non-partner levels, as well as with front-line law firm specialists and administrators
  • Experience facilitating active engagement of enterprise legal management and/or legal operations management solutions
  • Legal background or experience as a corporate lawyer, paralegal, legal project manager, legal engineer or have gained similar market understanding in a role within a technology company that serves the legal industry
  • Experience in legal services, customer success, project management or solutions consulting within the Legal sector
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels

 Qualifications:

  • 3+ years in the Legal sector
  • The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, customer-centric and detail-oriented, ideally with a mix of product, solutions, and legal experience as a corporate lawyer, paralegal, legal project manager, legal engineer or have gained similar market understanding in a role within a technology company that serves the legal industry is a plus, but not a requirement
  • Bachelor's degree; graduate-level legal degree and/or certification a plus, but not required
