As Toast continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Solutions Engineering Manager to help us continue to grow into the Enterprise Hospitality space.
About this role:
- Hire, develop, motivate, and manage a sales support team
- Work with Solutions Engineers building solutions for enterprise prospect in order to show how Toast scales with their business
- Partner with the Sales Team as a technical resource in bringing news brands onto the Toast platform.
- Coach your team on how to conduct live demos, and craft a solution that best meets the prospective customer’s needs
- Drive cross functional collaboration across the business to ensure that expectations set during the sales process are met in delivery
- Build process and strategy to continue growing the Enterprise line of business
Do you have the right ingredients:
Sales Experience
- 3+ years of sales experience in a closing or closing support role
Management Experience
- Management experience with a proven track record of hiring, retaining and developing individuals and team
Willingness to travel
- This role will include travel 30% or more
Collaborative
- Must be a trusted partner to both sales and the product team
Special Sauce: (non-essential skills, nice to have):
Presentation Skills
- This role requires executive presence, ability to explain complex ideas/products clearly
Hospitality Experience
- Must have experience working in hospitality in some capacity, giving you the ability to understand the challenges our customers face quickly
Additional Experience
- An ability to adapt amidst rapid growth and change.
- Experience working as a technical consultant to drive enterprise sales engagements

The base salary range for this role is listed below. The starting salary will be determined based on skills and experience. In addition to base salary, our total rewards components include cash compensation (overtime, bonus/commissions if eligible), equity, and benefits.
Pay Range
$124,000—$198,000 USD
