Job Description:
The Enterprise Product and Platform team delivers enterprise level technology stack, products, and platforms supporting key enterprise functions including Supply Chain, People, and Finance.
We are embarking on a significant Finance Transformation journey, using, Oracle Cloud Financials and Oracle Enterprise Performance Management Cloud, along with Oracle Integration Cloud for seamless integration. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Global Finance Modernization Testing Lead who will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of software testing, ensuring that the project delivers high-quality functionality and meets its deadlines. The Testing Lead will work closely with stakeholders across the project, including implementation vendors, developers, business analysts, and project managers, to co-ordinate testing requirements definition, development of test plans, test case executions, and identification and resolution of defects.
The Global Finance Modernization Testing Lead reports to the Director, Global Finance Modernization.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

  • Work with Implementation Vendor(s) to organize, execute and co-ordinate all formal test events including System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for all waves of the GFMod program across different markets.
  • Collaborate with McDonald's QA Center of Excellence (COE) and other dependent ongoing projects to ensure adherence of McDonald's policies, tools, and protocols around QA/Testing.
  • Ensure Development and maintenance of comprehensive test plans for all formal test events including System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) covering all functionalities, integrations, and non-functional requirements.
  • Review Design and execution of diverse test cases including functional, regression, integration, usability, and performance testing.
  • Own the Triaging and prioritization of the issues and defects logged during testing events.
  • Co-ordinate Design and execution of automated testing to support regression testing.
  • Supervise and report test execution status including testing progress metrics summary, defects logged, resolved, or dispositioned otherwise.
  • Ensure adherence to project timelines, budget, and quality standards and escalations and mitigation plans as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven 5+ years of testing experience in software testing, with at least 3 years in a lead role.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and managing testing teams on sophisticated projects.
  • Preferable to have prior experience in managing the QA activities for large scale Oracle Cloud migration projects.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies, especially Agile.
  • Expertise in test plan development, test case design, test execution, and defect management.
  • Experience with relevant testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Jira/Zephyr and Tosca).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to detail and communicate progress against plans, taking corrective action as vital.
