The Business Solutions Team takes pride in empowering teams across Articulate to serve our customers with ease and efficiency. We’re looking for a Manager, Salesforce Development who can help lead and support our Salesforce development team while partnering closely with the business to deliver reliable, scalable Salesforce solutions that support core business operations.

In this role, you’ll combine people leadership with strong Salesforce technical expertise. You’ll mentor and grow a talented team of developers, help establish development best practices, and collaborate with stakeholders across the company to improve the systems and processes that support our customers and internal teams. You’re excited to learn the business deeply so you can help identify opportunities, remove friction, and deliver tools that make work easier and more effective.

You’re comfortable balancing technical leadership, people management, and delivery execution in a fast-moving environment. You enjoy helping developers grow, partnering with cross-functional teams, and contributing to technical decisions that improve scalability, maintainability, and the overall health of the Salesforce ecosystem.

As part of our talented and driven Business Solutions Team, you’ll work closely with an incredible group of marketing, sales, customer support, customer success, finance, and operations professionals to build systems and experiences that help our teams do their best work.

What You'll Do:

    • Lead, mentor, and support a team of Salesforce developers through coaching, technical guidance, and career development, including regular feedback, performance management, and growth planning

    • Partner with the Director of Salesforce Development and cross-functional stakeholders to prioritize work, align delivery timelines, and deliver scalable solutions that support business operations

    • Help establish and reinforce Salesforce development best practices, coding standards, and release processes

    • Collaborate with business teams to understand challenges, gather requirements, and design effective technical solutions

    • Support the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of Salesforce applications and integrations

    • Contribute to platform architecture discussions and help drive scalable, maintainable solution design

    • Promote strong development lifecycle practices including code reviews, source control, testing, and CI/CD processes

    • Help balance delivery priorities, technical debt, platform stability, and long-term maintainability

    • Foster a collaborative, curious, and customer-focused team culture

What You Should Have:

    • Strong experience developing solutions on the Salesforce platform

    • Experience leading or mentoring Salesforce developers in a collaborative, fast-paced environment

    • Deep expertise with Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flow, APIs, and Salesforce platform best practices

    • Experience with Git-based development workflows and CI/CD tools

    • Strong understanding of Salesforce integrations and connected business systems

    • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions

    • Excellent communication and partnership skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

    • Passion for mentoring developers and helping teams grow and improve

    • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset

    • 8+ years experience in IT or equivalent including experience leading or managing technical teams

    • 6 years of Salesforce Development experience (APEX, Visualforce, SOQL)

    • 2 years of Salesforce administration experience

    • 5 years of project management experience

    • 6 years of development experience

    • 1 year of experience with billing software

    • 4 years of system integration experience
