About the Team

As a member of our diverse and skilled North America Solution Consulting team, you will have the opportunity to communicate and demonstrate the power of Workday's applications to prospects and customers alike. It is this team's job to bring the value of Workday solutions to life and showcase how new technology can transform work. Along with working closely with our sales counterparts, this team also sits at the intersection of our Product Management, Consulting Services, Marketing, and Value Management teams, providing exposure to multiple areas of the business.

About the Role

This Solution Consultant Manager role is aligned to our North American Sales team when selling Workday Contract Intelligence and Workday Contract Lifecycle Management. This Manager will lead a team of up to 9 Solution Consultants, who are experts on both of those two products.

You and your team will work closely with Account Executives and Sales Leadership to support a combination of fast-moving opportunities as well as large, strategic deals that require deep investment and consultative expertise. As our business expands, the role is also responsible for identifying operational efficiencies, programs that support scale as well as ways to increase pipeline growth.

In addition to customer engagement, you will be responsible for hiring and retaining top talent. You will assist your team in growing their careers as well as mentoring them on the execution needed in their role. Together, we will ensure the continual advancement of each team member in both skills and knowledge, enabling them to guide Workday's customers to outstanding business outcomes. This role is critical to Workday's long-term success.

About You

Basic Qualification:

  • 5+ years in a sales-related role (Sales, PreSales, Value Management, Customer Success, etc.) selling enterprise software

  • 3+ year experience selling Contract Management Software (ideally with an AI component)

  • 1+ years experience leading people on deal strategy and supporting customer engagements

Other Qualifications:

  • Consistent track record of successful partnership with Sales

  • Experience in a fast-paced work environment

  • Strong critical thinking skills and execution capabilities

  • Consistent overachievement of assigned goals and targets

  • Ability to self-impose ambitious goals, work on multiple projects simultaneously, and supporting multiple sales teams

  • A track record of hiring, talent management and employee development
  • Experience cultivating a feedback-rich environment focused on performance and improvement

  • A history of using data to support your decision-making process

  • Experience with Enterprise software in the Financial space preferred

  • Experience working with large volume Sales territories preferred

Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below.  Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things.
