Who You Are:

  • You have 12-15+ years of agency account management experience, 1-3 of which have been in an Account Director capacity, with a track record of happy clients and colleagues to show for it
  • You have experience managing both small and large accounts (from $100k-$4MM+)
  • You have a proven track record of growing client business and/or success in a sales position (Will be a plus if have personally brought in more than $1-3MM annually) 
  • You have demonstrated supervisory, delegation and strong mentorship skills
  • You’re well-versed in today’s marketing and media landscape, and you understand how to drive results for clients through your teams
  • You’re a business-savvy, strategic thinker and a creative problem solver extraordinaire 
  • You have impeccable communication, presentation, facilitation and organizational skills
  • As you will be a key client contact for the account, confidence, a constant quest to be ahead of the market and the ability to ‘get it done’ are all key attributes
  • You are digitally fluent, with an understanding of the complex, fragmented media landscape and how to bring together cohesive programs and drive results for clients
  • You have a deep appreciation for how great work gets done and a commitment to ensuring creative excellence/output
  • You possess a growth-oriented lust for life
  • You’re authorized to work in the United States

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of clients for a target of ~$8MM in revenue, delivering integrated solutions to clients’ business challenges
  • Manage all aspects of portfolio’s business with superior customer service while maximizing business opportunities
  • Actively seek to understand your client’s brand/business/products/services/industry in order to serve as an advisor on behalf of the agency and readily identify opportunities for growth with existing clients
  • Establish and grow a strong relationship with multiple senior client stakeholders through a demonstration of industry knowledge and of the application to business challenges
  • Identify new business opportunities, collaborating to deliver scopes of work and revenue to expand and extend the partnership 
  • Create plans and track success measures to manage and drive revenue growth for the assigned book of business
  • Close business and set up work delivery teams for success with a strong objectives and a clear picture of success
  • Ensure overall quality of work and objective adherence on their accounts 
  • Identify, work through, and solve for conflict situations (internally and externally)
  • Work with internal and external teams to measure performance, suggesting and implementing new measurement frameworks when needed
  • Manage multi-disciplinary teams ensuring all team members are delegated work appropriate for their level and experience and that the team remains challenged and engaged
  • Plan and lead client workshops in the Facilitator role both inside and outside of committed scopes of work
  • Champion our strategic and creative product by actively participating in work development on behalf of the client and providing input/approval of all strategic and creative work as it applies to long-term client strategy prior to client reviews or presentations
  • Act as an open and willing resource to team members in assessing ideas and directions, and providing guidance to push further
  • Behave as a positive role model through example
  • Proactively keep abreast of industry trends and develop POVs on current marketing and technology trends to share with the client and internal team
  • Mentor the team to maximize individuals’ growth, and harness the strengths and opportunities of each team member
  • Work closely with direct report(s) to optimize any revenue opportunities within the agency at large
  • Demonstrate responsibility and accountability for overall agency performance and flawless delivery
