4FRONT is looking for a digital account manager to join our Chicago office. This role embraces planning, preparation and fulfillment related tasks that occur pre and post campaign, while also providing exemplary customer service to our partners. This position requires an individual to work well with our team and be prepared for a fast-paced and detail-oriented environment. Core qualities of the digital account manager include resourcefulness, accountability and the ability to work independently with strong initiative skills. You will assist in the day-to-day logistics of planning, implementing, and maintaining of digital media campaigns. This role drives innovation at the campaign level and cultivates key partnerships to deliver the best digital media opportunities to our partners.

Core Functions, Responsibilities, and Attributes

1.    Digital Media Strategy: determine strategic media recommendations with supporting rationale

  • a.    Develop media plans and special promotions tailored to specific client needs
  • b.    Work directly with pre-campaign research needs, including conducting partner research to assist campaign development
  • c.     Utilize 4FRONT’s suite of planning, evaluation and buying tools (i.e. Oracle, Kantar, eMarketer) for application and analysis into the competitive landscape, targeting digital consumption support, and planning development and reporting
  • d.    Perform media planning and buying across display, video, mobile, search and social channels while owning elements of planning and execution
  • e.    Create and present media specific documents such as RFPs, media plans, objectives and strategies decks, reports and other related functions
  • f.      Coordinate review of RFP submissions for maximized integrations
  • g.    Lead in RFP review of vendor/site responses, compile proposal analysis and drive vendor negotiations

 

2.    Account Management: provide exceptional client/partner service:

  • a.    Go beyond the client ask and think bigger picture how to impact their business
  • b.    Respond to client needs quickly and efficiently
  • c.     Possess a partner mentality by treating clients as if they’re an extension of the 4FRONT family
  • d.    Be an internal puppet master and know which strings to pull and when; intuitively know which teams can add value to the overall deliverable
  • e.    Plan and buy media as if you’re spending your own hard-earned dollars
  • f.      Manage day-to-day communication with key partners, vendors, partner agencies and creative media
  • g.    Create campaign post-launch materials such as screenshots, links and placement information to demonstrate proof of placement for clients
  • h.    Maintain plan records, insertion orders, contact lists, and spec documents
  • i.      Builds campaign performance reports and post campaign analysis inclusive of aggregating information from third parties
  • j.      Provide an active voice communicating optimization opportunities and challenges
  • k.     Input all proposals and IOs into Salesforce
  • l.      Create and track invoices
  • m.   Manage all tasks in Asana

 

3.    Cross-Department Collaboration: willingness and ability to collaborate with strategy director, revenue acceleration, and campaign managers for strategy and planning in the following functions:

  • a.    Manage day-to-day plan changes and maintenance of media plans
  • b.    Participate in team brainstorms to initiate plan and consideration set development
  • c.     Monitor trends, tools, opportunities and applications in digital media environments, and appropriately apply this knowledge
  • d.    Investigate cross-channel opportunities, incorporating mobile and social extensions
  • e.    Work with analytics, trafficking, ad-serving, and finance departments as part of the media management process

 

Skills

  • 1.    3-5 years of experience
  • 2.    Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3.    Agency experience preferred
  • 4.    Ability to work in a team environment that promotes collaboration
  • 5.    Exemplary customer service skills
  • 6.    Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • 7.    Ability to work successfully within a team as well as independently
  • 8.    Solid understanding of mathematical concepts
  • 9.    Knowledge of all aspects of Digital Media, including Search, Display, Social, etc.
  • 10.  Solid understanding of the principles of marketing and advertising, as well as an understanding of media concepts and terms, creative and budget requirements
  • 11.  Detail-oriented with exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • 12.  Ability to prioritize, multi-task and work under pressure
  • 13.  Strong communication, project management and time management skills
  • 14.  Demonstrates professional verbal and written communication skills
  • 15.  Ability to work traditional and non-traditional office hours as needed
  • 16.  Ability to self-manage under deadlines
