The SimplyBe. Account Manager will play a key role on the team. S/he will ensure that all client relationships, account management, best practices, client success plans and business development operations are carried on smoothly and effectively. S/he will also lead/assist in creating, owning and supporting the rest of the team on project management processes – including financial (invoicing, timelines, etc), business development and all processes that are part of the SimplyBe. Account Management Way.

Reporting directly to the Director of Client Relations, the Account Manager is an extension of client leadership with innate knowledge and experience related to business development needs, strategies, and tactics. S/he will directly manage some key client accounts on the day-to-day operational level, and also support the Director in her agency-wide work, namely bringing a strong strategic mindset, contributing to and executing all initiatives supporting growth, namely: quantitative growth of client individual accounts, qualitative growth of client rapport with SimplyBe., and finally, help to grow the SimplyBe. business at large in new business development and client acquisition. The Account Manager will also be helping lead some project management processes as outlined above, and will support the Director and other team members across those functions.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT:

  • Effectively manages his/her assigned client accounts to help maintain and grow revenue for SimplyBe. Agency.

  • Assists Director in her role as leader, advisor and collaborator to all internal client teams, overseeing account management success across the organization at large.

  • Assists the Director in delegating executional and supportive tasks to the Creative, Content, Communications, Project teams, along with Interns, to ensure that the day-to-day execution of all strategies is driving toward success of client objectives

  • Facilitate regular strategy sessions with clients and monitor relevant KPIs throughout the entire client engagement

PROCESS AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT: 

  • Partner with Director of Client Relations, Account Managers and Creative Teams on client timeline implementation and accuracy

  • Support the implementation and comprehension (with the team at large and new employees) of The Account Management Way.

  •  Suggest improvements to process flow as appropriate. 

STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT:

  • Lead research and development of certain elements in SimplyBe.’s proprietary identity and strategy deliverables

  • Research competition and audiences for clients to identify opportunities

  • Lead sections during Accelerator Days, with a focus on client experience 

CLIENT RELATIONS:

  • Manage a set of current and future clients to build rapport with stakeholders and key decision makers across all client accounts.

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and key personnel within customer companies.

  • Support the Director in her responsibilities:

    • Develop and own “client relations best practices” for the company at large.

    • Conduct business reviews to ensure clients are satisfied with their products and services.

    • Monitor company performance against service level agreements and flagging potential issues.

    • Liaise with internal departments to ensure client needs are fulfilled effectively.

    • Achieve client relationship targets and KPI’s as set by client in partnership with the CEO (i.e., Success Plan)

    • Liaise with new client prospects and support the development of new business proposals and client pitching when appropriate
