ThinkMarkets is seeking an experienced Ad Operations Manager to help lead the journey of developing a global programmatic company.  Overseeing the strategy and building from the ground up, this role will drive meaningful growth for a truly international brand. This is an exciting and critical role in developing the infrastructure and executional excellence to create a high functioning marketing machine!

 

To be successful in this role, this individual must have a proven track record of managing ad operations for an international brand and/or managing multiple brands simultaneously in an agency-led environment. They must be comfortable in a distributed workforce environment and able to collaborate and work well with all levels of leadership. This role is based in our Chicago office and reports to the Head of Performance Marketing

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Ownership of the end-to-end process of programmatic media buying globally
  • Lead the ad tech strategy, driving best practices and platform recommendations
  • Develop and define ad-operations for the business – using lean methodology to standardize for global stakeholders
  • Define ad set-up and campaign buying across multiple platforms
  • Stay up to date on the programmatic landscape and best practices around the globe, recommending change where necessary
  • Lead our testing strategies across key ad platforms and geographies – ensuring accurate attribution to major KPI’s
  • Manage the ad creative spec development with our internal agency while developing best practices to increase testing capabilities
  • Develop strong relationships with our worldwide experts to effectively build regional plans
  • Co-lead the move to DCO
  • Liaise with internal BI to drive extreme value through the data capture process
  • Operate with a sense of entrepreneurship and purpose to drive meaningful and effective change in marketing practices

 

Requirements:

 

  • 3+ years of experience managing advertiser programmatic buying
  • Experienced with DSP’s, Ad Networks and Exchanges
  • Significant in-platform experience managing across DSPs, Ad Networks and Exchanges
  • Demonstrated experience in leading best in class ad-ops for an organization
  • Extreme comfort with Google suite of products. Salesforce a big plus
  • Experienced debugging tag architecture
  • KPI driven and results oriented to drive innovation across media execution
  • Strong attention to detail and with validation of programs
  • Experienced hands-on ad operations in agency environment OR in-house ad operations for a global brand
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Fintech experience is a big plus
  • DCO set up and trafficking best practices are a plus
