In this Role: 

We are looking for an experienced Agency Communications Specialist/ Manager that will help us bring digital insurance product solutions to an evolving agency distribution channel.  This role will specifically manage and execute the communication strategy for our national account and independent agents distribution channels. 

The ideal candidate for this role will understand insurance products, change management, and go-to-market strategy.  You will play a key role in the development and execution of communications ranging from insurance product changes, technology enhancements, outage comms, and marketing messaging-- all of which impact our agency partners.  

What will you do as the Agency Communications Specialist/Manager?

• Create, own and execute our agency communication strategy 
• Develops communication strategies to support new plans, programs & processes, partnering with our technology, marketing, insurance product, claims and advocacy teams 
• Help develop and own our brand voice, including a deep understanding of the positioning of the evolving Clearcover brand
• Work in partnership with our marketing team to develop press releases, blog posts, and marketing materials 
• Work in partnership with our agency development specialists to own the creation knowledge base articles 
• Project manages short-term and long-term deliverables 
• Evaluates and implements process improvements to internal and external compliance requirements/standards

What do you need as the Agency Communications Specialist/Manger?

• You have experience launching new programs. Change is the only constant for you, and you’ve effectively communicated medium to large scale changes to audiences, gaining their buy in
• You’re an insurance expert. You understand P&C insurance, have familiarity with agency operations, and know how to communicate to agents. 
• You’re hands-on and a self-starter. You have the ability to lead and drive initiatives with little oversight – the persistence and tenacity to break down barriers while also bringing people together towards a common goal.
• You have great relationship skills and thrive working cross functionally. You’re able to build effective relationships, both internally and externally, and can navigate complex relationships and issues.
• You’re flexible. You have the ability to work amidst ambiguity and adapt as we grow and expand.  
• You have a growth mindset. You’re driven to improve performance through continued learning
