We are looking for an Amazon Marketplace Strategist who brings a unique skill set to the table. This person will provide strategic and hands-on guidance on everything needed to build, grow, and accelerate our client’s B2C Amazon Marketplace business. Through their deep expertise in Marketplace platforms, Commerce, and MarTech, the Amazon Marketplace Strategist will play a critical role in the optimizing our clients Amazon stores to enable further e-commerce growth. 

Role and Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates ability to deliver consultative solutions to clients by educating them on how to achieve optimal success on Amazon Marketplace
  • Collaborate with UX to formulate Marketplace user flows and strategy; consult with Analytics to validate UX hypothesis and translate them into business requirements
  • Synthesize system and client requirements into a form that design and technical teams can act upon
  • Provide recommendations and best practices on how to approach ongoing split testing, reporting, and optimization of our partners catalog 
  • Provide experience and design direction on Content, Photography, Storefront, and other digital assets to the content team
  • Manage and understand varying tasks associated with selling on Amazon Marketplace
  • Understand marketplace inventory management by tracking, demand analysis, and forecasting
  • Analysis of weekly/monthly sales and traffic/conversion data by providing reports and perspective
  • Experience in planning and executing various marketing tactics and promotions

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of Amazon Marketplace and e-commerce experience
  • 1-2 years experience in consulting for brands, retailers, and manufacturers across verticals and in B2B, B2C and D2C
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong judgment, issues management, and problem analysis technique
  • Must be able to balance priorities on simultaneous projects
  • Successfully connect with individuals at all client organizational levels
  • Strong interpersonal, consultative, leadership, organization, multi-tasking, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to adjust to the ever-changing digital marketplaces and desire to test and learn new tools and technologies

My favorite events include a Summer in Winter themed party we held at the Studio, Peak, Peach and remotely all simultaneously. Those attending remotely, zoomed in with festive attire we sent in packages that included drinks/food/favors we had them on the big screen TV so they can view everyone and participate in games.
