What’s the role?

Develop content marketing communications focused on accelerating go-to-market clarity to further drive external awareness and thought leadership.

This is a key role reporting into the Senior Manager of Content Marketing.  The role will be based in Chicago.

Strategic Value of Role

Epsilon is a diverse business with comprehensive platform suite consisting of digital media (Conversant) and marketing solutions designed to appeal to C-level executives and senior marketers. This role must develop communications appropriate for all audiences, while delivering consistent, tailored content focused on verticals that include retail, CPG, financial service, travel, restaurant and healthcare.

The candidate must be natural storyteller, responsible for guiding and writing a range of communications to enhance Epsilon and Publicis Groupe’s industry position.
  

Key responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Develop compelling written and visual content aligned to business objectives and designed to elevate internal and external visibility of Epsilon brand in vertical and product categories.
  • Work with marketing leads on development and creation of client-facing ebooks/guides, blog posts, white papers, webinars, research reports, infographics, videos and more.
  • Work with creative team to build out innovative, market-leading content assets.
  • Advise and assist in the development and execution of SEO, paid search and social media strategies leveraging LinkedIn and Twitter.
  • Support development of owned publication through strategy support, writer management, writing and proofreading.
  • Contribute to our case study strategy. Work with teams to identify gaps in our case study inventory and develop assets for campaigns and sales enablement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and drive strategic content communications plans, including managing and maintaining the content calendar.

 

Let’s Talk About Who You Are

  • You are located in Chicago. For the right candidate we will consider location in the Boston area or remote.
  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Communications or marketing with an emphasis in writing.
  • You have 2-4 years of experience working at a magazine, newspaper or similar publication, or in a writing-centric role at an agency or in-house marketing team.
  • You are able to demonstrate strong business writing and editing skills – able to write clearly and concisely to a wide variety of audiences (clients, employees, sales teams, reporters/editors, etc.).
  • You are a natural storyteller with a passion for technology, digital marketing and data and like working in a start-up culture that emphasizes innovation.
  • You can distill complex and highly technical messages and ideas into meaningful content, adapted by audience and sector.
  • You thrive in fast-paced environments, are flexible and able to adapt to changing scenarios, someone who rolls up their sleeves and gets the job done.
  • You are a change agent, seeing ‘ambiguity’ as an opportunity as opposed to a hurdle, and thrive on challenging yourself to push beyond conventional thinking.
  • You are detailed-oriented with an eye and passion for creative, ensuring the content not only is written well, but the output looks amazing.
  • You are results-driven – want to show the impact you’re driving and are passionate about demonstrating that value to your stakeholders.
  • You have the intellectual curiosity to surface insights and implications and use this knowledge to think creatively about solutions.
  • You are highly organized with excellent follow through capabilities and are comfortable working with remote contributors and stakeholders.
  • You have strong proficiency in MS Office, especially Word and Powerpoint and may even have experience with Workfront, HubSpot or similar content management platforms.
