The Associate Manager Visual Marketing oversees the Visual Merchandising and Visual Marketing aspects of branded presentations for promotional, planogram, campaign, emerging brands & special initiatives displays. The manager will collaborate closely with Store Design, Space & Floor planning, Finance, Merchant, and Merchandise Operations & Transitions teams to develop key presentations.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY

  • Attend Fixture Process Meetings with Store Design, Space & Floor planning, Procurement and Repairs & Maintenance team to collaborate on branded presentation and fixture projects.
  • Collaborates with Visual Merchandising & Brand Marketing Creative teams to ensure merchandising and marketing strategies are consistent and in line with standards during development of new branded presentations.
  • Collaborate with internal design resources such as Creative Operations & In-Store Creative & Production Design on development to realize and prove out visual merchandising concepts.
  • Develops In-Store Creative Briefs and partners with internal creative team and external production vendors to concept new branded presentations. Lead the development process from concept to prototype to production.
  • Refer to analytics and sales data to strategize new visual merchandising solutions that support product sales projections while thoughtfully balancing brand aesthetic. Partners with Finance teams to set up and understand results from APT testing.
  • Develops temporary display tracking tools and workflow and partners with merchandise operations, store development & repairs and maintenance teams to keep track of all active displays, locations and owners of each. Work with teams to resolve questions and issues that may arise on displays that are owned by the Visual Marketing team.
  • Creates, maintains and manages visual guidelines, standards and process documents.

PRINCIPAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manages branded presentation visual marketing budget for assigned categories
  • Oversee and refresh the development and adherence to implementation standards in the field.
  • Responsible for signage supply chain cost-effectiveness
  • Responsible for quality assurance and color management

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in relevant field (Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Project Management).
  • Minimum 6-8 years of merchandising, marketing, buying or planogram work experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Merchandising skills with demonstrated knowledge of store fixtures, design and store operations. Additional experience with temporary fixture and point of purchase displays preferred.
  • Analytical and process management and development skills are necessary for continuous improvement.
  • Self-starter that can meet tight deadlines while managing multiple projects.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Significant experience utilizing Microsoft Office
    • Excel (including: V-Look ups, pivot tables, reports)
    • Word
    • PowerPoint
  • Experience with project management scheduling software, workflow management and other workflow tools are strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional handling in negotiations, value analysis and supplier management required.
  • Knowledgeable and experienced in print procurement, visual marketing & fixture production, & print processes.
  • Experience with fixture development, procurement and branded presentation process and workflow experience is necessary.
  • Working knowledge about print equipment and technology to determine the appropriate type and process for all the various print vehicles while maintaining cost efficiencies.

PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Additional experience with Adobe Creative Suite or other design software is preferred.
  • Previous experience in corporate visual merchandising or in-store marketing experience preferred.
  • Experience with project management scheduling software, workflow management and other workflow tools are strongly preferred.

SPECIAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Some work travel may be required (travel to local stores, vendors, or conferences)
