The Global Brand Team is in search of a go-getter and skillful multi-tasker who is passionate about brand management and seeking an exciting entry-level brand management role with a globally recognized hospitality company. This position is for those who are inspired by cross-functional collaboration, a team atmosphere, and a sense of pride in “getting things done.” This role will support a hardworking, agile & creative team that leads with empathy, authenticity, and care and contribute to short and long-term brand objectives across Hyatt’s brand portfolio.

 

The Brand Coordinator is responsible for supporting a scope of services for the Global Brand Team, working with leaders across the team to champion brand standards, lead key projects, and assist with administrative components that keep the brands running smoothly. This position will collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders across the organization and external partners.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Global Brand Coordinator will help to create efficiencies for the larger brand team with management of day-to-day activities across brand portfolio.

 

More specifically (not exhaustively), the coordinator will:

  • Take leadership in managing Brand Experience Guides (BEGs), ensuring they are updated and accurate
  • Have a keen eye on branding elements for all brands, guiding stakeholders to ensure visual brand standards are met and the look, feel and voice of our brands show up consistently across all platforms and placements
  • Provide responses to brand standards inquiries in a thoughtful, consistent, and empathetic manner
  • Work with the Studio and internal creative teams to kick off, lead, and provide thoughtful feedback of creative design of brand assets as needed by cross functional partners (e.g., branded sales and marketing collateral and advertising templates)
  • Develop & manage a process for sharing marketing best practices & brand materials such as best-of photography
  • Develop cross-brand and cross-functional marketing calendars
  • Build/update brand presentations that effectively communicate to multiple stakeholders across the company
  • Assist in compiling reporting for key stakeholders, including KPIs, campaign results, etc.
  • Be the file management guru, so the brand teams can share tools and files as needed
  • Oversee brand team invoicing and manage/report on brand budgets
  • Assist with scheduling global and cross functional calls, compile, and update distribution lists for key communications
  • Steward of the brand standards
  • Oversees brand invoicing and budgeting process
  • Collaborates with in-house creative team and external agencies to develop creative content for marketing opportunities
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including comms, ops, digital, and field teams to provide guidance on brand experience standards as outlined in the guidelines

Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in Brand Management, Hotel Marketing, Digital Marketing, Media, or E-Commerce
  • Prior brand marketing and/or agency experience preferred 
  • Highly motivated and goal-oriented, creative with exceptional prioritization, time management and organizational skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously effectively and competently and the flexibility and ability to quickly adapt to changes and new technologies
  • Ability to work in a highly matrixed organization
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communications skills 
  • Proven ability to impact and work with all levels of the organization 
  • Build relationships and work effectively with numerous departments at the corporate office 

 

Education

BA/BS Degree, preferably in hospitality, communications, advertising, marketing, journalism, or related field 

 

Computer Skills Needed to Perform this Job

  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite a plus

 

Additional Comments and Requirements

  • An understanding of brand building, marketing plans and creative outputs

  • Ability and willingness to operate in a fast-paced, complex corporate environment
