This role supports the fast-paced growth of Home Chef's e-commerce business, with a focus on driving growth through impactful marketing initiatives and performance-driven tests. Reporting to the Director of Brand Marketing, this role demonstrates the ability to lead consumer, brand, and product projects across the organization, with execution in multiple channels, including paid social, other digital advertising, and Home Chef's owned digital properties. The ideal candidate is a strong team player, working closely with internal cross-functional teams to initiate and lead projects. They are a self-starter and have the ability to perform ongoing tests and analyses to drive growth. Strategic thinking, project management, and strong organizational skills are all required to be successful in this role.
Creative Testing Leadership:
  • Leverage insights and data to develop performance-driven tests that improve customer acquisition and reactivation on paid social, other digital advertising, and Home Chef's owned digital properties. Develop real-time recommendations for implementation.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to set goals and develop business cases for tests, structure and administer tests and analyze results.

New Product Launches:
  • Develop and manage the brand strategy for new product launches that effectively communicate product positioning, key features, and benefits in marketing deliverables.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to cut through ambiguity and execute the go-to-market plan.
  • Use a test & learn approach to capture new consumer insights and drive growth.

Brand Campaigns:
  • Build strategy and execution of marketing campaigns and partnerships, bringing thought leadership, creative ideation, and analytical oversight to the process.
  • Proactively contribute to the development of strategic messaging and positioning to differentiate Home Chef from competitors.
  • Work closely with our in-house agency on the successful execution of campaigns, collaborate on strategy, best practices, and oversee the on-time and on-budget delivery of campaigns.
  • Serve as a reliable liaison to multiple stakeholders throughout the activation and delivery of campaigns.
  • Understand the rapidly-evolving competitive environment, with an eye on direct competitors and awareness of best practices in the direct-to-consumer space. Translate learnings into implications and recommendations for brand plans.

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Analytics, Business Administration, or similar field is required

  • 3+ years of digital marketing experience; ideally with a direct-to-consumer e-commerce business

  • Strategic thinker; can manage both high level strategy and detailed execution

  • Positive attitude and enthusiasm, with a focus on execution and results

  • Experience in A/B and multivariate testing a plus

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to evaluate processes for improvements

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team

  • Project management skills; ability to multitask while working with multiple teams

  • Comfortable with evolving responsibilities based on strategy and product priorities

  • Ability to build credible, effective relationships with stakeholders and cross-functional teams

  • Willingness to build out functions and processes from inception

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
