Our Marketing team takes our diverse businesses to market - positioning our brands with consumers, translating that to engaging marketing actions, delivering an exceptional experience that connects them to our merchants and in turn drives business growth.

 

Working under the Senior Brand Marketing Manager, you will serve as a point-person for executing key brand initiatives at Groupon. These initiatives will range from brand campaign development (offline media, online media, owned channels) to brand and identity management to sponsorships and promotions.

 

You will be responsible for organizing, leading, and executing brand marketing projects from beginning to end. Additionally, you will work on the creation of brand content calendars, brand and content audits, assessment of marketing opportunities, and analyzing campaign performance.

 

To be successful in the role, you will need marketing experience to enable you to define realistic plans, think creatively, analyze impact, and execute daily. You lead with an audience first mindset, and have firsthand knowledge on how to project manage compelling campaigns that drive consumer action. In addition, you should have outstanding collaboration and relationship building skills to facilitate work across the Brand Marketing team, cross-functionally with internal teams, and external agency partners.

You’ll spend time on the following:

  • Leading brand initiatives from start to finish (start: brief, finish: results & analytics)

  • Maintaining brand consistency, ensuring the brand and the value propositions are front and center throughout the customer experience

  • Developing and driving execution of integrated marketing campaigns with clearly defined roadmaps across channels, functions, and groups within marketing including detailed requirements, time estimates for delivery, and resource needs

  • Pushing innovation into marketing programs while proving efficiency, scale, and return on investment

  • Helping craft a marketing content calendar through informed insights, data, and optimization that delivers engaging content distributed across high performing channels

  • Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to execute strategy

 

We’re excited about you if you have:

  • 3+ years of experience in brand marketing and/or project management

  • Strong organizational and project management skills

  • Meticulous attention to detail has delivered results while juggling multiple projects

  • An appreciation for deadlines and are efficient and organized, like a human filing cabinet

  • The ability to thrive in a fluid and dynamic fast-paced environment, and embrace ambiguity

  • A deep understanding of how to interpret and present data and insights clearly while driving action and results

  • A general understanding of creative processes, which would assist you in hosting briefs with the design team

  • Experience running brand, marketing, and advertising initiatives and/or situational assessment, strategy, and tactical plan development

  • A bachelor's degree in business or marketing (preferred)
