Chief Marketing Officer

CarAdvise is looking for a Chief Marketing Officer to join our Team. This person will have the opportunity to be the primary driver of the group’s vision; overseeing the planning, development and execution of marketing and advertising initiatives. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to strengthen the company’s market presence, and to create a “voice” that will make a difference.  This position will create innovative marketing strategies that will build our brand, leading to increased awareness, relevance, and respect among our target audience. Our ideal candidate possesses tremendous communication and leadership skills, with proven success in traditional and innovative campaigns across the broad spectrum of today’s marketing channels. We are looking for a ground-breaking leader with strategic, creative and financial acumen as well as a strong business intellect to take our organization to the next level. This position will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies to create awareness of the company’s business activities with the goal to increase the company’s market share, maximize revenues, and ensure that our message is distributed across channels to targeted audiences in order to meet sales objectives.

What will you do?

  • Define marketing strategies to support overall strategies and objectives
  • Plan and organize marketing functions and operations (product development, branding, communications, etc.), and ensure they project the company’s unique “voice”
  • Design and coordinate promotional campaigns, PR and other marketing efforts across channels (digital, press etc.)
  • Develop a direct-to-consumer marketing strategy that translates into acceptable and measurable CAC
  • Build out user engagement strategies for usage and repeat usage
  • Manage user feedback to improve NPS
  • Set and achieve strategic goals related to social media metrics, SEO, and marketing campaign initiatives
  • Design and improve upon marketing campaign initiatives
  • Create and propagate an enthusiastic brand message that will resonate with our target demographics
  • Take responsibility for the look and content of the website and social media outlets, maximizing visitor conversion
  • Set KPIs and report on progress
  • Write compelling, crisp copy for a variety of marketing channels
  • Assess new marketing opportunities for generating business
  • Develop a marketing plan that reaches target segments quickly and effectively
  • Evaluate and enhance search engine optimization to own key search terms and drive enrollment and usage
  • Lead the creation/production of inspiring design, content and campaigns that builds the brand and drives revenues
  • Work closely with the sales team; enabling them to meet their commercial objectives by providing them with appropriate tools, materials and presentations
  • Undertake continuous analysis of competitive environment and consumer trends
  • Produce ideas for promotional events or activities and organizing them efficiently
  • Collaborate internally with company leadership and areas of product, marketing, sales, operations, and customer service to meet partner and company objectives

 

You are:

You can balance a practical mindset with a creative business acumen and lead people through complex marketing operations.  You have in-depth experience in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment, are highly organized and focused, and possess excellent leadership, management and communication skills. You have superb analytical skills along with a thorough knowledge of marketing principles, brand, product, and service management, along with a deep understanding of changing market dynamics. You have an entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to lead and deliver on various projects, perform well under pressure, and excel in providing reliable and clear communication. You are a visionary who is future-oriented with a deep understanding of traditional and innovative marketing strategies with a proven track record of creating campaigns and initiatives that will drive and increase revenue. You are a doer possessing advanced analytical and problem solving skills. You work hard to make things happen and seek out the best opportunities. You can juggle multiple projects at once and never allow loose ends to develop. You know the smallest details can be the most important.

 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as chief marketing officer or similar role with 10+ years’ experience in marketing and/ or advertising
  • Demonstrable experience in developing efficient strategies and business plans for all marketing aspects (branding, product promotion etc.)
  • Solid understanding of market research and data analysis methods
  • Ability to apply marketing techniques over digital (e.g. social media) and non-digital (e.g. press) channels
  • A leader with creative, project development, and analytical capabilities
  • Advanced experience working with a variety of traditional and modern marketing and communications functions including: branding and messaging to different target audiences
  • An understanding of all aspects of various marketing channels; development and implementation of social media plans; and working with the press and other related media outlets
  • The ability to implement marketing strategies across a variety of media platforms
  • Aptitude for strategic development of business and marketing plans
  • Proven ability to use both traditional and digital marketing techniques in integrated and aligned campaigns
  • Ability to initiate and monitor several simultaneous projects
  • Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to present analysis results to senior management
  • Excellent attention to detail and follow through
  • Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
