ABOUT THE ROLE
Do you have a passion for helping to inspire and educate on the constantly evolving digital media landscape? Are you committed to customer experience? We are looking for a Client Learning Specialist who will come in ready to roll their sleeves up to work both in front and behind the scenes to make our premier education events a raving success. This role is one part project manager, one part presenter/facilitator, one part administrative extraordinaire, one part event host, and one part subject matter expert all with a commitment to client learning and education. You will be the primary stakeholder in making clients know that they are part of the ground breaking & innovative vision of Centro & Basis.
Based in Chicago, this role will report to the Director of Client Learning and sit on the Media Innovations + Technology team under Marketing.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain the Centro Certified LinkedIn group including content calendar and engagement
- Build strategies to keep past Centro Certified attendees engaged in Basis and with each other
- Present & facilitate at numerous Centro Certified events
- Identify key learning and education opportunities of Basis to help drive revenue & get clients excited about using it
- Research innovative ideas for group interaction in learning settings and collaborate with Director of Client Learning
- Work with Customer Success Managers to track feature usage after client has attended Centro Certified
- Build and execute strategic Basis education curriculums to be launched in Centro Certified including owning development of new content as new features are executed
- Periodically research and produce insights for key categories
- Gather post-event survey results and identify major themes, offering recommendations for future events including product feedback given throughout event
- Research registrants for Centro Certified to determine and track customer category, approach to working with Basis, and identify unique learning opportunities
- Work with Growth Marketing to review Digital Media Essentials attendees to determine prospect qualification and ensure proper follow up
- Proactively communicate to Customer Success Managers & Account Leads when their clients have registered
- Assistance in overall hosting duties of event such as set up and clean up event spaces, assist in happy hour/dinner, working with marketing to ensure all emails/invitations have been sent
- Send out certifications to attendees and test results to Customer Success Managers & Account Leads
- Work with Marketing Operations to gather revenue reports for each event (quarterly views, half year, total year review)
- Track attendees from each Centro Certified via master document and update all stakeholders on updated numbers
- Keep email invitation list up to date by updating each new Basis user’s contact information
- Potential to take on additional responsibilities across Centro Institute programs and Media Innovations + Technology team
- Ability to take complex ideas and break them down into bite size pieces for client education
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2-5 years professional experience in event management, project management, client education, and/or administrative work
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of PowerPoint
- Comfortable with being in front of an audience & presenting, ability to be flexible and working on the fly in front of a group
- Ability to learn new software and programs quickly (Basecamp, Splash, and proprietary software)
- Extremely detail oriented
- Interest in developing a career in client education and/or becoming a subject matter expert in the digital landscape
- Baseline knowledge of the digital media landscape
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Bachelor's degree or related equivalent experience
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with a positive attitude who enjoys collaborating with a high-performing group
- Strong collaborator with ability to work across various departments and teams to create results
- Positive, open, curious, and self-motivated individual
- Ability to learn new skill sets quickly as the job requires
- Operates with low ego and shows a willingness to jump in and help where needed
- 15% travel
