SMS Assist is proud to announce numerous openings within the Marketing team during this exciting point in our company’s growth. One of those new roles is our Customer Marketing Manager.  We recognize the facility maintenance industry is not known for creative or bold marketing campaigns, but we want your help to change that. Our Marketing team is working to re-invent the way potential customers and Affiliates see our brand just like our company has changed the way nationwide brands view facilities maintenance.

Core Responsibilities of the Customer Marketing Manager:

  • The Customer Marketing Manager is responsible for designing, developing and executing marketing programs in support of SMS Assist's new and existing clients.
  • Plan and execute direct marketing engagement programs consisting of email, direct mail, website and intranet, and marketing collateral for our client, to promote awareness and drive portal adoption.
  • Work closely with the Implementation team to provide ways to market SMS Assist to a new client and their teams.
  • Work closely with the Implementation teams to create, brand and maintain a formal implementation package.
  • Work closely with the client relations team involved in the client experience to develop material to educate customers on SMS Assist processes, e.g., Billing, Operations, Technology, etc.
  • Work closely with the Training team to create and maintain a formal training package.
  • Help develop documents, guides, and presentations that direct our clients’ engagement with SMS Assist and knowledge of the One platform.
  • Monitor client portal adoption metrics and collaborate with internal teams to determine ways to promote ongoing enrollment and utilization of client portals.
  • Collaborate with our client’s marketing teams to determine ways to increase clients’ engagement with SMS Assist and knowledge of the One platform.
  • Designing and executing client surveys.
  • Create and deliver the client newsletter.
  • Work closely with the Director of Product Management to create the content needed to enhance our clients understanding of a new technologies intended value.
  • Assist in designing and executing all client update emails, e.g., portal enhancement and product releases, training opportunities, etc.
  • Manage vendors as needed to create marketing materials, videos, etc.
  • Manage vendors as needed to purchase client collateral needed for Training and Implementation 

Key Competencies of the Customer Marketing Manager:

  • Extremely strong (and proven) Project Management skills
  • Hubspot (or other equivalent) marketing platform knowledge
  • Strong writing skills

Education and Experience the Customer Marketing Manager:

  • Prior tech company with strong enterprise client service culture
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5-7 years of experience in Marketing
  • Experience in product marketing
  • Experience collaborating and coordinating teams across a broad set of disciplines to deliver client content
  • Experience working with IT development teams to deliver online marketing strategies
  • Technology company background
