The Communications Manager is responsible for developing creative and strategic multichannel communication plans targeted to clients and other external audiences. Candidate should be a self-starter with focus on strong client service, project management skills and the ability to collaborate and deliver results in a cross-functional environment. A deep understanding of wealth management services and platforms common across the financial services industry is also preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage communications related to crisis situations, product and service updates and digital platform enhancements. Translate communications into internal updates and talking points for client-facing partners.
  • Write and edit effective communications with a focus on client experience and an understanding of strategic communication channels.
  • Work with senior executives, business executives / product owners, technology and compliance/legal teams to oversee the execution of communication plans constantly monitoring and reporting on progress to all stakeholders.
  • Uncover and anticipate communication needs, synthesize feedback, and use data to develop and present creative communication strategies.
  • Assess complex situations, recommend options, and drive team members and stakeholders towards common solutions.
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities for continuous improvement, operational efficiencies, and advocate for platform enhancements.

Skills & Expertise

  • Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of related financial services experience with increasing level of responsibility.
  • Significant experience in developing and executing marketing strategies and/or communication programs.
  • Understanding of financial services practices and terminology, having experience in this sector.
  • Demonstrated experience with financial writing and the ability to convey complex information in a clear and engaging way.
  • Ability to evaluate and leverage new technologies to facilitate effective communication.
  • Highly organized and possesses the ability to quickly adjust priorities and work in a complex environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
