What You Will Do
As Communications Manager, you will manage and implement communications programs to support Ascension’s Strategy & Innovation organization, which includes all Ascension technology teams.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plan to engage and connect associates across the Strategy & Innovation team
- Develop creative, strategic content that supports proactive internal and external storytelling
- Advise and support leaders on creative approaches to engage stakeholder audiences, including change and relationship management
- Work closely with Ascension’s public relations team to tell our innovation story externally
- Proactively identify trends, risks, challenges and solutions, and help lead and drive corrective action
- Support stewardship of the Ascension brand within the organization and with external audiences in the market and service area
- Measure effectiveness and adjust plans accordingly to support desired outcomes
What You Will Need
Education:
- High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree required
- Journalism or Communications degree is strongly preferred.
Work Experience:
- 3 years of experience required.
- 5 years of experience preferred.
- 1 year of leadership or management experience preferred.
