What You Will Do

As Communications Manager, you will manage and implement communications programs to support Ascension’s Strategy & Innovation organization, which includes all Ascension technology teams.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategic plan to engage and connect associates across the Strategy & Innovation team
• Develop creative, strategic content that supports proactive internal and external storytelling
• Advise and support leaders on creative approaches to engage stakeholder audiences, including change and relationship management
• Work closely with Ascension’s public relations team to tell our innovation story externally
• Proactively identify trends, risks, challenges and solutions, and help lead and drive corrective action 
• Support stewardship of the Ascension brand within the organization and with external audiences in the market and service area 
• Measure effectiveness and adjust plans accordingly to support desired outcomes

What You Will Need

Education:

• High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree required
• Journalism or Communications degree is strongly preferred. 

Work Experience:

• 3 years of experience required.
• 5 years of experience preferred.
• 1 year of leadership or management experience preferred.
