About the Role
The Content Marketing Director (CMD) is responsible for Go-To-Market strategy, and content creation. The CMD role is to synthesize market, consumer, product, and competitive inputs into driving the highest possible revenue and lead generation for the business.
The role of the CMD involves performing activities such as product strategy and analysis, product positioning to target consumers, sales messaging development, competitive analysis, and product differentiation, among others. This role is collaborative and incorporates some sales enablement activities, for example, joint case studies with customers, channel partner and alliances presentation builds, and creating training materials for onboarding both internal and external sales folks.
The CMD is usually a person with vast experience in product marketing roles with specific expertise in the areas of positioning and go-to-market strategy. They will also be a great communicator and understand intimately the details and nuances of the product's market, buyer personas, and be able to deliver the business results in terms of sales.
What You'll Do

  • Develop product positioning, messaging and communications strategy to successfully build product awareness, and drive product growth
  • Communicate the value proposition of products to all go-to-market teams and ensure that effective marketing support materials are created
  • Follow necessary controls, policies, procedures, business rules, and reports to ensure that product promises are delivered
  • Ensure effective control of marketing results and takes corrective actions to meet marketing objectives and requirements
  • Develop and continuously iterate on Key2Act's product positioning, value propositions and messaging that inspires and differentiates from competition
  • Develop GTM launch templates for customers, customer-facing teams, prospects, and sales to ensure launch completeness, consistency, success - and constant optimization
  • Ensure marketing program strategy and tactics are aligned to our buyer journey to increase revenue-generating adoption and upsell opportunities
  • Create sustainable and scalable working systems for the product marketing team
  • Create and manage resources that will be delivered in conjunction with our sales enablement function to ensure our sales team can confidently position a product's differentiated value to the market


What You Need

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Information Technology, Engineering, or any other related field
  • At least 10 years' experience in Marketing or any other related field
  • Experience in product positioning, pricing, and packaging
  • Experience in the creation and execution of highly detailed go-to product market plans
  • Proven expertise and leadership in Product Marketing
  • Ability to set process, coach others, and build relationships across teams
  • Experience working in a product marketing capacity (partnered closely with product management to represent market requirements and with customer acquisition teams to drive growth)
  • Capable to handle numerous, complex decisions simultaneously, across multiple teams, and cultures
  • Experience synthesizing analysis (campaign metrics, market research findings, etc.) and communicating concepts and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive results
  • 1+ years of experience in HVAC, Commercial Construction, or Field Service
