About the Role
Are you an entrepreneurial Content Marketing Manager looking to grow and be recognized for your hard work? We recently launched a new IoT analytics SaaS offering that revolutionizes smart building optimization. You will be leading a majority of the inbound/outbound marketing strategy. Put your creative juices to work crafting engaging content to attract, nurture and convert leads to MQLs and build sales enablement content to accelerate sales accepted leads to closed business. If you love collaboration, you'll prosper leading initiatives with a collaborative and agile team supporting you.
What You'll Do
- Develop strategic and tactical B2B inbound/outbound marketing plans (e.g., persona focused content with compelling and differentiated value props, blogging strategy, sales enablement strategy, campaign, and social strategy)
- Create brand awareness through messaging frameworks, value narratives, differentiators, pitches, and proof points
- Measuring the results of marketing activity to inform future marketing campaigns
- Drive top of funnel MQL lead growth and SAL conversions through SEO/SEM and lead gen marketing campaigns
- Create editorial calendar with targeted content to drive brand awareness and education (e.g., infographics, webinar, landing pages, social media, eBooks, blogs, videos)
- Enable sales pipeline velocity through middle and bottom of the funnel content (e.g., case studies, white papers, videos)
- Improve sales effectiveness through compelling sales enablement materials (e.g., presentations, competitor battlecards)
- Lead on advising/editing internal stakeholders' content to simplify and enhance go-to-market content/messaging
- Collaborate with product management, demand gen/marketing automation, events, and graphic design to create high-quality content
- Analyze SEO and Google Analytics to develop and optimize web site content
- Team content lead when working with outside marketing agencies
What You Need
- BA/BS or equivalent working experience (Marketing degree preferred)
- 5+ years' experience in either content marketing, product marketing or solutions marketing - preferably in SaaS industry
- Hands on experience with SEO and web traffic metrics
- A dual-minded approach: You are highly creative and an excellent writer that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to create it but can also be process-driven, think scale, and rely on data to make decisions
- Excellent project management skills to adapt and juggle priorities
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
