Position summary:

We are looking for an action-oriented content creator and marketer to join our team. The primary responsibilities of this role will be to:

  • Act as a lieutenant to our Head of Content, supporting the development and marketing of Curable’s new and existing healing programs
  • Manage and execute special initiatives to improve (and add to) Curable’s library of in-app content
  • Create fresh, valuable emails that keep our users, leads, and network of healthcare practitioners engaged
  • Create and distribute original content to grow and nurture Curable’s social media audiences (particularly on Instagram and Facebook)
  • Act as associate producer and distribution manager for Curable’s podcast, “Like Mind Like Body"
  • Act as a liaison for our healthcare provider community, managing opportunities for select healthcare experts to contribute to the Curable blog and appear on the Curable podcast
  • Conceptualize & design Facebook ads to support various marketing initiatives
  • Conceptualize & design various printable materials from start to finish
  • Always be willing to pitch in and assist the larger team, no matter how small the task

Our ideal candidate is:

  • Able to execute on ideas quickly and effectively without the support of a team or outside vendors
  • A quick learner who is eager to master new programs and skills on the job
  • The best written communicator and storyteller of anyone they know
  • An excellent visual communicator with a natural eye for design
  • Internally motivated, independent, and comfortable working solo
  • Intimately familiar with the unique challenges of chronic pain
  • Knowledgeable about pain science and the brain’s role in chronic pain
  • Interested in psychology
  • Empathetic and open-minded

They MUST have prior professional experience with:

  • Email marketing
  • Copywriting
  • Social media
  • Visual design
  • Basics in Adobe Illustrator*
  • Basics in Adobe Audition*

*If no prior experience, must exhibit a clear commitment to learning a basic knowledge on your own time before beginning the role

Bonus points for:

  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe products (Specifically Illustrator, Photoshop, Audition, Premiere, InDesign, and AfterEffects)
  • Basic understanding of html / css
  • Prior experience working with / editing / distributing podcasts
  • Prior experience in direct-to-consumer sales
  • Prior experience in healthcare or health tech
  • Intimate knowledge of healthcare professions
