As a Content Marketing Manager, you will work with EPAM's clients as a results-driven communicator. You'll help clients assess and craft data-driven communications strategies for business development, brand building, and industry audience engagement, as well as writing and developing customer-facing content that serves the strategic approach. As each engagement is based on specific client needs, the role may range from building programs from the ground-up to assessing existing programs and making recommendations for improvements or developing plans to meet the client growth objectives. It is therefore important that you are ready to bring your business knowledge, creativity, and the full breadth of your marketing, consultative and writing skills to implement programs that are designed to build and reach audiences.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Structure, prioritize, and scale clients' marketing communications programs
  • Align the priorities and strategy with the business and project goals
  • Consult with clients to understand their current state, assessing and auditing existing processes, pain points and outputs
  • Leverage existing brand strategies in executing programs and content
  • Consult on strengthening those strategies to better reach key audiences and markets
  • Work closely with stakeholders to make recommendations for improvements and implement those changes
  • Incorporate client, brand, and initiative goals with content that includes SEO optimizations, audience targeting, and growing both brand credibility and audience engagement
  • Define quantifiable success metrics and KPIs
  • Develop user journeys to understand and clarify the user path to purchase and develop key motivators to move them through the funnel, incorporating those into the content marketing strategies
  • Create and manage cross-channel marketing communications including but not limited to: newsletters, emails, social media, narrative content, presentations, scripts, creative briefs, business communications, etc
  • Develop style-guides - including brand voice, templates, and standards - for the delivery of content across channels and platforms
  • Understand information architecture as it relates to customer facing initiatives, including at least a general understanding of content and client management platforms
  • Conduct research with audiences and provide recommendations to inform strategies
  • Conduct competitive research and industry research to ensure client needs and engagement with the audience aligns and exceeds the competition while meeting the needs of the audience
  • Develop editorial/content calendars tied to business objectives and platforms/audiences to attract and convert targeted audiences
  • Measure, evaluate and continuously improve effectiveness of programs


REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience developing content strategies and plans that drive results
  • At least 8 years' experience in marketing and/or communications
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, researching, and interviewing skills
  • A deep understanding of storytelling and capturing reader attention. Ability to distill sophisticated information into simple, easy-to-understand messages, with a passion for storytelling
  • Ability to learn unfamiliar subject matter quickly and write about it authoritatively
  • Flexibility in writing style and preference across a range of channels and audiences including (but not limited to) digital collateral, websites, emails (promotional, educational, transactional) blog posts, social media posts, and articles, including thought leadership, digital ads, internal and external communications such as presentations, etc. - ensuring the style of writing is effective for the platform and channel users. This includes some copywriting, short, and medium form content writing, and organization
  • Experience writing and developing content for internal and external communication pieces, such as presentations and reports, and to different audience types (B2B/B2C)
  • Strong proofreading and editing skills
  • Have experience building robust communications programs and plans
  • This is not a PR role; however, the ability to write effective press releases is expected
  • General understanding of SEO to inform how to develop content that incorporates those best practices by platform and industry


NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience with Content Marketing platforms, Customer Relationship Management platforms and Content Management Systems
  • Project management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments and with multiple stakeholders
  • Experience with Branding and Response marketing
  • Familiarity with analytics and ways to incorporate data into actionable content and A/B testing
  • Experience with marketing and content tools such as SEM Rush, Google Trends, keyword planner, Spyfu, Moz, Frase, AirTable, Grammarly, etc
