More about the role:
As a Paid Search Coordinator, you'll play a key role in executing the daily operations of Grubhub's Paid Search programs.
This is a multi-faceted role within Grubhub that will be responsible for coordinating with the growth marketing engineering team to streamline and scale the creation of new campaigns, ads, keywords, etc. In addition, you will work closely with the rest of the Search Marketing team to analyze trends and execute optimizations within Google, Bing, and Apple platforms, supporting the rest of the Growth team across both Diner and B2B paid search operations.
In applying for this position, you should be comfortable knowing and implementing paid search best practices and feel confident in your ability to keep up with the ever-changing landscape of search and be able to proactively identify areas of opportunity for both search performance enhancement and process improvement.
We are looking for someone who is excited by executing new ideas, identifying performance trends, and collaborating with the team to re-think existing approaches to the channel. At Grubhub, we are always innovating our methods to take SEM to the next performance level and this role plays a key part in supporting that process.
The Impact You Will Make
- SEM daily operations: including but not limited to campaign creation, ad copy launching, keyword expansion, SQR analysis, and bid strategy updates
- Ensure paid search campaigns adhere to best practices and work with SEM team to troubleshoot any problems that arise
- Coordinate with data engineering team to support automated processes and identify areas for improvement
- Proactively identify areas of opportunity and take action to improve our paid search performance
- Play a key role in executing paid search tests and reporting insights to senior leadership
- Work collaboratively with SEM manager to translate strategic vision into tactical solutions and results
- Analyzing reports to uncover data trends and translate the data into a digestible format to help support actionable recommendations
- Leverage 3rd party bid management tools to improve effectiveness of our bidding strategy and operational efficiency
- Perform competitive research using 3rd party tools and news alerts to stay up to date on the latest search trends
What You Bring to the Table
- 1+ years experience working within the paid search industry
- Excel competency with navigation, formatting, and using basic functions (sum, avg, and pivot tables)
- A proven track record executing paid search optimizations and accurately reporting SEM results
- Strong communication skills: ability to clearly communicate results and key learnings
- Keen attention to detail: accurate and effective performance with history of identifying errors or opportunities for improvement
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, economics, statistics or other related field
- Recent Google Ads Search Certification
