The Corporate Communications Manager will play an important role in the daily operations of our company as an essential member of both our sales center and corporate teams. You will work with business leaders and our partners to develop an influential external communications strategy that differentiates GoHealth and advances the priorities of the company with specific external target audiences including clients, partners, press, analysts and consumers. You will report to the Director of Communications.

Responsibilities:

  • Align external and employee engagement communications to GoHealth’s operations and strategic goals
  • Oversee external content creation and strategy; set clear performance standards and goals to increase audience size and engagement
  • Analyze audience to understand strategic positioning, key messaging and appropriate channels to resonate
  • Partner with the Corporate Communications Associate on monthly employee engagement newsletters; provide guidance and ensure understanding of the business
  • Help build GoHealth’s Corporate Social Responsibility plan in partnership with the Corporate Communications Manager (Internal), taking point on the launch
  • Manage and strengthen relationships with all external partners
  • Partner with the HR department on award submissions and other opportunities
  • Work closely with the VP of Investor Relations on investor-related communication needs and monitor the Investor Relations website
  • Work closely with the Director of SEO to ensure alignment with PR-Content Marketing releases and projects

Skills and Experience:

  • BA/BS degree in Business, Communications, English, Journalism, Marketing or Public Relations or related discipline
  • Prior Healthcare experience is encouraged
  • Experience engaging audiences and accomplishing communication goals
  • 5+ years of experience within a corporate communications role or similar field
  • Solid leadership and change management experience
  • Research and proofreading skills to ensure all materials are high-quality and accurate
  • Experience in media studies and the production of written, mass, and interpersonal communications
  • Project manage several projects simultaneously with moving deadlines
  • Engage and create partnerships with customers at all levels of our organization
  • Quickly grasp and summarize complex issues
