ABOUT US

NextCapital is out to change how individual investors engage in their retirement journey. To do that, we have to be bold, curious, and deliberate in partnering with our customers on how they bring solutions to market by understanding the keys to channel and participant engagement. To that end, we’re looking for an engaged, experienced, and highly motivated Customer Marketing Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate is curious to discover what drives investor engagement in their retirement journey and excited at the challenge of using that understanding to ignite the entire value chain. You will leverage best practices from your customer marketing or channel marketing experience and your consulting skills to uncover new ways to think about the value drivers across our customers, their customers, and NextCapital’s digital experiences.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Listen. We are out to disrupt a market. You will be curious, understand our strategy, and ask the questions to identify the adoption and growth drivers and the friction points within each customer ecosystem. You’ll apply what you learn to building and testing approaches to best to serve the various personas across our value chain.
  • Engage with our customers’ marketing and sales teams, translating our go-to-market strategies, tactics, and best practices to their specific programs to drive assets into NextCapital solutions, and to deliver value-added services around long-term participant engagement and adoption.
  • Build and execute on strategic marketing plans for stakeholder audiences in a customer’s sales channel, including both institutional and individual investor audiences (e.g., email marketing campaigns, webinars, landing pages, sales training, thought leadership, and other components of an integrated content strategy)
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including relationship managers, project management, and sales, to align marketing and enablement strategies with customer objectives and timelines.
  • Be data-driven: use data to identify optimization and friction points to participant adoption in our customers’ distribution channels, and leverage that data to feed back to NextCapital teams to continue to innovate and evolve our solutions to be best in class for our market.

WHERE THIS ROLE MAY LEAD YOU

  • Create key relationships with institutional partner contacts
  • Collaborate directly with the executive team on shaping the marketing enablement and adoption program
  • Become an instrumental player in the organization, helping us define the path to our customers’ success

Requirements

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • You have 3-5 years of relevant customer marketing or channel enablement experience working in a dynamic environment that required curiosity, innovation, and a willingness to think about marketing strategies in the context of outcomes
  • You have experience working directly with large customers, preferably in a channel partner (i.e., B2B2C) business model
  • You have a demonstrated track record of creating and executing successful marketing plans that have grown your customers’ businesses
  • You consistently leverage available tools and evidence in combination with your own intuition and experience to create cohesive and thoughtful solutions to customers’ sales and marketing pain points
  • You are known for driving smooth communication amongst varied groups of stakeholders and know how to adapt your communication to your audience
