About The Role

Yello is looking for a passionate, proactive leader to join our Marketing Department. This person will lead our demand generation efforts to bring quality leads and new customers to Yello.

The Demand Generation Expert will be responsible for the overall execution and strategy of our demand generation process. This individual will partner closely with Marketing and Sales to successfully generate and nurture leads. This is an opportunity to manage a critical function and generate pipeline.

The Demand Generation Expert must be passionate about analyzing data and digging into performance metrics.

How You'll Make An Impact

Owns campaign strategy across channels to fill the top of the funnel, nurture leads through the buyer’s journey and support our Sales team. This role acts as the primary authority on marketing campaigns, campaign performance and sales enablement, connecting marketing with sales and building trust with customers.

  • Generate net new leads through outbound campaigns including: direct mail, email, customer marketing, company webinars, partner webinars, sponsored webinars and advertising
  • Develop and manage an Account Based Marketing (ABM) program, including playbooks for our account management and sales development representatives (SDRs)
  • Work with marketing operations to set goals and determine which campaigns are effective
  • Communicate with various stakeholders about campaign schedules, results and potential roadblocks
  • Work with the customer account management team to develop programs that support and engage customers
  • Work with product marketing/management to create and execute product roadmap and product launch campaigns

Metrics and KPIs

  • Achieve quarterly lead and opportunity targets
  • Oversee daily activities performed by the SDR team, driving and motivating each member toward expected monthly and quarterly goals
  • Monitor KPIs including number of activities (leads generated, conversations held, sales activities) to ensure a strong ROI and help SDRs stay focused and maximize performance
  • Partner with Sales to monitor and refine sales lead processes and metrics, providing ongoing deep-dive analysis of performance indicators to optimize productivity and pipeline development
  • Ensure effective use of Salesforce.com & tracking dashboards

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • 4+ years of lead/demand generation and managing campaigns
  • 2+ years of technology experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of marketing automation software (Engagio, Outreach.io, Marketo, Salesforce, Unbounce) a plus
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to drive pipeline growth and achieve team goals
