The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for planning and executing digital marketing campaigns to drive outcomes focused on growing Life Fitness's consumer footprint.
The successful candidate will be a well-rounded digital marketer with a proven track record of leveraging data to develop campaigns that drive measurable results. The campaigns you will develop will drive global awareness, qualified leads for our sales team and direct to consumer revenue via our ecommerce site.
KEY OBJECTIVES:
Drive, implement and sustain digital marketing initiatives and best practices that support Life Fitness's growth objectives on assigned customer segments, particularly in the consumer space
Become the expert on your assigned customer segment, their needs, challenges, influences and preferred digital “hangouts”
Develop and execute inbound marketing activities (keyword research, on-page SEO, thought leadership content development, organic social, marketing automation) to attract and build a trusted relationship with your customer segment
Plan and execute creative, data-driven campaigns to move users through the full funnel via paid channels including SEM, display advertising, retargeting and paid social
Manage the development of content assets for campaign deliverables (blog posts, white papers, case studies, product detail pages, ad creative, etc.) via internal and external resources
Ongoing campaign optimizations, including ad, landing page testing and execution and analysis of A/B tests
Design and manage marketing automation campaigns that generate leads, nurture customers through the customer journey, and create a connection with our customers
Work with various analytics and data sources to track and analyze campaign effectiveness to determine ROI and go-forward plans
Create and optimize product detail pages assigned to your customer segment to effectively tell the brand, product and customer-benefit story to maximize conversions
Collaborate with global marketing team to tell consistent brand and product story to target customer segment across international markets
Work with sales and product teams to develop promotions for assigned customer segment(s)
Work with other customer segment managers to implement cross-brand and product strategies and tactics to continually improve and enhance digital marketing efforts
QUALIFICATIONS – REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field
5+ years of digital marketing experience in the consumer space, preferably in an ecommerce-related business
Prior experience with content marketing and inbound marketing for DTC and/or B2B businesses
Exceptional communication skills - written, verbal, and presentation - with a proven ability to keep information flowing amongst internal stakeholders
Comfort navigating fast-changing, occasionally ambiguous environments with a willingness to take risks, ability to consider novel, untested approaches to drive innovative solutions
Comfort working in a multi-time zone environment with a proven ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects / deadlines simultaneously
Experience managing paid media (SEM, display advertising, retargeting, paid social)
Proficient in Google Analytics and comfortable with a data-driven approach to assessing marketing performance
Proficient with MS Office Suite / experience in an O365 environment
QUALIFICATIONS - PREFERRED:
SEO guru with experience managing email marketing and marketing automation efforts
Familiarity with Pardot a plus
Prior experience partnering with creative agencies and coordinating marketing activities
Connection to or passion for the fitness industry with product knowledge is a plus
Global marketing experience a plus
Background in or understanding of product manufacturing/durable goods industry and market highly desired
