Digital Marketing Manager

| Chicago

Who we are

We at Jellyvision are the proud parents of ALEX®, an interactive employee communications platform that makes tricky decisions—like choosing and using employee benefits—easier and more enjoyable. The success of ALEX has exceeded our wildest work-related dreams, which is why we need a talented Digital Marketing Manager to help us.

How you’ll help

The B2B buying landscape is constantly changing, and our Revenue team needs to stay ahead of the curve. Traditional marketing and demand generation strategies are becoming less effective and buying is becoming way more complicated and distributed across more stakeholders and influencers. And for Jellyvision in particular, we’re challenged with marketing a mature product with niche appeal—that is to say, there’s a very specific buyer for our product, and we’re already identified, met with, or won business from a majority of them, particularly in the Enterprise slice of the market.

Your mission, then, is to set Jellyvision up for growth by getting in front of the full buying group and putting them into play for our Revenue team through smart, targeted marketing campaigns.

What you’ll do

  • Drive Jellyvision’s growth marketing strategy across all relevant channels, both digital and offline and with both a mass-market and account-based approach.
  • Acquire members of our customer buying groups to accelerate pipeline conversion and overall win rate.
  • Use intent signals to identify new contacts with a propensity to buy.
  • Optimize and manage the execution of programs and campaigns in alignment with company goals, budget, and available resources, tracking important metrics like cost per contact, pipeline generated, revenue sourced, customer acquisition cost, and ROI.
  • Leverage Jellyvision content and product and brand messaging to create campaigns that are on-target and appeal to our customers.
  • Be a student of demand generation and test new approaches.
  • Developing and implementing suggestions for web site enhancements – both for keyword-based content development and conversion improvements – that increase our inbound traffic and conversion.

Experience & skills you’ll need

  • 5+ years of end-to-end B2B lead gen experience.
  • A great practitioner and student of B2B marketing, with strong practical, working knowledge of a complete marketing tech stack and channel ecosystem.
  • A roll-up-your-sleeves, entrepreneurial mindset—focused on driving results (namely, great contacts).
  • A balance between right and left brain techniques. You’ll need to be data-driven to zero in on our target customers and personas, but you’ll also need to be able to get inside the heads of these people with clever and compelling campaign creative that will inspire them to act.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, and delightfully, with folks coming from all different perspectives.
  • Managed a budget with specific channel, revenue, and pipeline goals across multiple channels and for different customer types.
  • Customer focus: you seek out opportunities to get into the minds of customers and keep their needs at the forefront.
  • Business insight: you understand how businesses work, keep up with industry trends, and use your knowledge to plan and execute effective campaigns.
  • Directs work. You’re able to provide clear direction, delegate and distribute tasks appropriately, and manage the work being done to ensure goals are being met.

Anything else?
Our credo is a simple one: be helpful. And we think we can be most helpful if our workforce is as
diverse in thought, perspective, and culture as the people who use our products. We are looking
to add amazing people to our team who will bring diversity across many lines, including race,
ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, age, marital status, disability, gender identity, sex, and
country of origin.

Jellyvision is a place where I truly feel like leadership wants me to be healthy/happy. They really show me they want you to have a work/life balance. The company does everything they can to avoid unwarranted stress with unlimited PTO, flexible Working From Home, emails reminding me to take care of myself, and ways to get help from my teammates.

I am most excited about the diversity, equity, and inclusion projects that I get to be a part of. We’re have emerging Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) that have engendered out of a toolkit our department created, streamlined trainings, and a diversity & inclusion strategic framework in place to name a few!

Recruiting & Onboarding Coordinator

How does the company support your career growth?

At Jellyvision, you don’t just hear from your manager when you’ve done something wrong. Jellyvision is big on positive feedback and celebrating success. In my experience, management has been great at helping me identify what my strengths are and pointing me in that direction as I progress here.

Senior Customer Development Representative

What unique initiatives do you have that encourage innovation?

Implementation is a team of ballers, constantly impressing me with new ideas. Our most recent ideas are new classes around Professional Development and a pilot approach to quickly implement customers. These ideas came from folks on the team. When my coworkers have these ideas, my job is to give them the support and resources to run with them.

What are Jellyvision Perks + Benefits

Jellyvision Benefits Overview

* Competitive pay, 401(k) with matching and benefits. We pay 100% of the cost of premiums for medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance for our employees (as long as you qualify for our tobacco-free discount; if you’re a tobacco user, your medical premiums will be higher than $0). We also cover a really nice chunk of the cost of premiums for spouse/dependent medical, dental and vision insurance.

* Casual dress and a flexible schedule. Come in a sweatshirt, jeans, whatever, like everyone else here.
Creative work environment. We are lucky to work in a place that is full of intelligent, talented and innovative folks. Although most hours the place is deathly quiet (we're a focused bunch), this is punctuated with hilarious outbursts and general merriment, which makes a nice way to spend the day.

* Free food. Every week, we stock our kitchen with free healthy snack foods, and we have a catered lunch every other week to give people a reason to hang out and eat together.

* Easy transportation and lots of love for folks who bike to work. We’re really close to the North/Clybourn red line stop and the Halsted (#8) bus (right by the Apple Store and Mega Whole Foods too), and we have a transit FSA that allows you to dedicate pre-tax dollars to public transportation expenses. A number of our employees like to bike to work, so we also have bike storage, showers and lockers in the office. And for those without their own bike in the city, we offer free divvy memberships – complete with Jellyvision bike helmets you can borrow from the office.

* Did we mention our yoga and meditation classes? We bring a pro instructor right to the office. Fully subsidized by Jellyvision and fully optional, btw.

* Oh! And we have a massage chair. Not just any massage chair, my friend. It’s the Renew 2 Zero-Gravity Massage Chair by Brookstone®. Feeling a little stiff? Sit down. Relax. Feel better? Good. Okay, back to work.
